👍👍 Chicken tagine was really good! Highly Recommend. Reasonable price, good view. Don’t bother with the dessert, but mains are really good. Nice view too! People often mention view, good, rooftop, great, views, service, terrace, nice, staff, Cafe,

Roof top vibes here are valid. Very good panoramic views. The food was good as well. You see those chicken kabobs? You know the vibes! The vegetables were fantastic as well. The service here was really good. We had a great time just hanging on the roof enjoying the views.

We checked a few restaurant option on this strip and decided to go with Atay Cafe. We expected to sit on the main level yet the server took us 4 or 5 flights of stairs up to the top. We were afraid that it would be too warm (37 degrees today) but they have a covered rooftop and mist 🌫️ spray to stay refreshed. We ordered the iced tea (so delicious) and the vegan couscous and the chicken skewers. It’s a beautiful view from the top and we really enjoyed ourselves. Great food and service, thank you.

First of all, the location of Atay Cafe couldn't be more perfect. The cafe is nestled in the heart of the Medina, with a stunning terrace that offers panoramic views of the bustling city. It was truly a breathtaking sight to take in while enjoying a delicious meal. Speaking of the food, I was truly impressed with the quality of the cuisine at Atay Cafe. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. I particularly loved the traditional Moroccan dishes, which were cooked to perfection and full of amazing flavors. But what really made the experience at Atay Cafe so special was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, and throughout the meal, the servers were attentive, kind, and professional. It was clear that they took great pride in providing excellent service and ensuring that every guest had a memorable experience. And of course, I can't forget to mention the atmosphere of the cafe itself. The decor was lovely, with traditional Moroccan touches that really added to the overall experience. But it was the terrace that really stole the show - the view over the Medina was truly breathtaking, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. All in all, my lunch at Atay Cafe was a truly unforgettable experience. If you're ever in Marrakech, I highly recommend checking it out - the food, the view, and the staff all combine to make it a truly special place.

Great food with great views. It wasn’t too crowded so we didn’t know what to think, but they took us to the rooftop which has amazing views (you don’t see the atlas like they advertise on the entrance) and the food was surpisingly good. The price was okay, le jardin or others like that charge you way more. Try it!

Lovely multi-floored restaurant with a terrace on the rooftop! We went for a late night dinner. I ordered 2 juices and the burrata salad. Nothing fancy but good options and nice outdoor space!

Beautiful rooftop, great background music but the most important point, good food! We were there for lunch in a sunny but not too warm day. The couscous with chicken were extremely fluffy and flavoursome. The tajine was equally tasty, packed with nice vegetables and with an amazing caramelized onion that gave it an amazing twist! The place has 3 levels so it should offer enough cover from the sun if the sun gets too strong. Definitely worth the visit!

Finding a place with bad views and food in Marrakesh is extremely difficult. Lovely view, friendly staff and amazing food! The hummus was the best I had, fresh salads and the little spinach and goat cheese parcel were also amazing! Fresh juices also great! Really enjoyed it and recommended!

I got the feeling that they had two menus, one for tourists and one for locals! Nevertheless, the rooftop restaurant was really fun. It had a great view and was in the heart of the city. The staff were extremely attentive and kind. I recommend the beetroot juice, I ended up ordering a second one it was that tasty. In the food the bruschetta was amazing, especially in combination with the baba ganoush. It was perfect. Highly recommend 10/10, especially in light to see the view of the city.

Excellent mid-day rooftop experience. Had ginger tea and bruschetta plate (guacamole, traditional Italian tomato and onion, caramelized onion, and eggplant). Really good. It was nice to step out of the hustle and bustle of the Medina for a break, and the food and view did not disappoint. As a bonus, there is intriguing art scatter throughout the cafe. Definitely worth a visit.

A Nice rooftop cafe / restaurant with a very nice view. They have different floors. The highest is the smallest one. The service was the worst I've experienced in Marrakech because we felt like we are annoying the waiters just because we wanted to order something. The food was not my taste but well prepared and served. If you want to have a nice view maybe just with drinks and don't mind the bad service then go there.

Excellent place to have a drink for sunset. We didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that. The views across the city and beautiful and it was only us and 5 other people there so it was very peaceful, relaxing and private. I had a juice and it was very fresh. Highly recommend checking out this cafe if you’re in the are

A very interesting cafe restaurant in the heart of Medina. With indoor and outdoor sittings, arabian but pop and artistic style ambience and cozy environment. Adequate food options, mostly local, good variety of tea flavours, coffee, wines and cocktails. Encountered staff polite and friendly. Fair prices. There is wifi.

One of the restaurant in Marrakesh that offers rooftop area to enjoy sunset. We tried the vegan options: couscous and tajin, it tasted good. They have European price but it's still affordable. They don't have any high chair for baby/ toddler.

One of the most relaxing and comfortable rooftop restaurants that we visited in Marrakech! The food and tea was amazing and you can't beat the views!

Good spot to sit down and take a break. The cafe has multiple floors, including a rooftop one with a decent view of the area. We shared a chicken couscous, avocado salad and some mixed orange juices before continuing our day.

Great location to relax and escape the markets. Staff are very friendly yet relaxed - which is perfect for the atmosphere if you wish to read a book or chat. 2-3 floors with extended rooftop overlooking the medina/mosque. Powerpoints also available at tables to charge phones etc. Food was enjoyable - couscous was overflowing and could do with a little less, but was perfectly cooked and flavoursome. Can pay either cash or credit card!

Delicious and fresh food, very friendly staff and a nice location. We went to Atay Cafe a few times during our holiday in Marrakesh and every time ordered different meal.

Lovely rooftop terrace with a great view, good food and friendly service. Lots of misters don't do much to dispel the heat but we were there on a windy day. I think they would work better if there was no wind.

Nicely located with a neat view from the top and affordable prices. Had the lamb tagine with plums and it was delicious. The lamb was also very tender and succulent. For the most part, the service was alright. There was just one server who rolled his eyes when we called him to order. Perhaps he was tired from the day and it wasn't directed at us but it certainly wasn't professional and uncalled for. Didn't have any issues with anyone else. The rest of the staff were attentive and responsive.

Food was delicious. Prices were affordable and the view is good. The servers did not usually come back to the table to see if you wanted to order more drinks, so that was annoying but overall, it is still a good restaurant. Make sure you make reservations because it gets full. Best burger ive ever had!

Very nice ambiente with a beautiful terrace & interieur. We went to have some lunch & were definitely not disappointed - very delicious local food. We had the lentil salad & the different bruschettas for a very reasonable price. Also the staff was super nice & friendly. We would come back.

Good spot for sunset and romantic dine-in, terrace is super cozy and have great views of the Medina. Food is good but quantities are low by the price but it’s a common thing in tourist targeted restaurants in Marrakech

Way overpriced for the quantity of food. If you've had a hard waking day in Medina, you won't be satisfied at all. Actually, we had to go to Cafe D'epices after our dinner for more. Good taste and pretty decent service. Nice place and great views.

We had a lovely time here. The Tajine is delicious. On the rooftop terrace one can watch the sunset and observe the mountain range in the background. What a spot!

Great food and atmosphere, enjoyed the roof terrace 4 times :) Our favorites: quinoa taboule, pastilla chicken almond, orange-beetroot-ginger juice. Assortment of Moroccan Bruschetta was good too, it could be less oily. Nevertheless loved the food and would come again :)

Three of us went here for lunch. Undeniably the views from their rooftop terrace are beautiful. The food was fine, nothing incredibly exciting but safe for the less adventurous. But service wasn't great here compared to the many other cafes and restaurants we visited, having forgotten our drinking glasses and the wait for food was longer than usual. Combined with the okay food, we were a bit underwhelmed. But the views are great.

What to say about Atay Cafe? All around fantastic. Friendly staff, delicious food, great coffee, good casual music, fastest WiFI in the medina, and of course great views. You cannot go wrong here. Highly recommended. I will probably come here many times throughout my stay in Marrakesh.

Great scenery from the terrace. Overlooks the old city and great place to view the sunset. When the Adhaan (call to prayer) commences, it is even more beautiful. Service was definitely below par though.

Great view from the terrace! You can even see Atlas Mountains in the background. I had one of the best patillas in this restaurant, but the rest of the food is just average.

Really nice food and amazing view over the city for a fair price. Sat at the roof top and watched the sunset. Definitely worth it.

The rooftop of Cafe Atay is absolutely stunning, a perfect place to escape the chaos from Marrakech for a bit. The food however, is regular quality. I had high hopes due to the high reviews, so was somewhat disappointed.. service very slow as well.
