Hasan was a star, he made our dinner special with his incredible service! Good food, great local Moroccan wine and nice atmosphere, definitely a place to recommend. We had the vegetarian couscous that was very tasty and the beef stew cooked in red wine served with cinnamon and caramelised onion couscous that was incredible! Also the bruschetta to share was very good and interesting (I’m Italian so a bit fussy on Italian twist lol) and we enjoyed it very much. The bill with 2 bottles of wine came to 876 D ( we spend around £23 each- 3 ppl) Definitely recommended!

I'm reviewing only food since for sure it's a great place for music and drinks. We had a brunch there and food wasn't special, very plain in taste and not well composed. When a restaurant offer chicken burgers I expect them to be juicy inside, crispy outside and well flavoured. Maybe we just were unlucky with that brunch but I would change a bit menu if I were the manager or owner

Great place, lovely rooftop terrace and amazing staff. Just off the main square and also one of only to serve alcohol. Try the mixed Moroccan tapas! Would recommend all fellow travellers seek it out and make it your regular.

Wonderful service and decent drinks. Would give it 5 stars but it isn't the cheapest. I know taxes are high but I'm sure there's still room for improvement.

Honestly wish we hadn’t gone here. Overpriced (14 euros for a cocktail, 3.5 euros for a tea that they bring out a cup of hot water and a tea bag, 30 euro for an appetizer plate that was tasty but wayyyyy overpriced for what you got). I get it if you are wanting to find a fancy restaurant that is nicely decorated and has live music and cocktails but for me this was just price gouging. There are many other nice places that are not charging such absurd prices that I’d recommend. We also didn’t enjoy the music. It’s labeled as a jazz bar but in reality it’s a loud jam band playing chaotic music with no singing. We couldn’t take it anymore and didn’t want to spend more money for dinner so left early. There are better places that are equally as fancy but have better food and better prices.

The music is great, the ambience is fantastic, and the food is very good. Oh, and their drinks are very good too. All around great experience. Abdelhaq El Mandili is an awesome manager who is clearly very experienced. Thank you!

Food and service were great. Ambiance is also very nice. Cocktails were nice and strong! Wine by glass was also decent. We got the Moroccan starter platter which was good and flavorful. You can see pictures. I found the seats very uncomfortable to sit on and table small and crooked so it was a little uncomfortable. So someone with pain or can’t squat to sit on a stool will find it hard. Ambiance was great, we particularly didn’t see the jazz band play but could hear them very very clear. You can walk around and get a peek at them. It’s amazing to be in a very historic part of Marrakech and be listening to American music! It’s truly a great place. Rooftop bathroom was not working so one has to make their way down to another floor which I thought was fun for exploration purpose.

Cool vibe with the live music downstairs, you couldn’t really see anything from the rooftop but they had tv screens. Food and drinks were nice. I would come back just for the drinks on the rooftop next time or eat in the restaurant downstairs to see the band live. Service was nice too. Overall great evening, thank you!

Fantastic restaurant. We booked a few hours in advance for dinner and got a great seat at the rooftop from which we could still see the jazz band playing downstairs. Food was tasty, not many vegetarian options but the one they had (burger) was very nice. Cocktails are on the pricier end and though delicious, you couldn’t taste any spirits/alcohol was there.

What a gem, tucked away behind a street off the main square. Haitam met us and lead us through a warren of corridors until we emerged on the roof terrace, listening to the live band. Even with a sudden storm the staff deftly weaved everyone into a dry spot and the night continued. Food, drinks and service were all fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

postive enrgy and great atmosphere

Myself and my partner spent a fantastic evening in here this evening (10/04/22). An amazing venue with a few floors looking out onto a beautiful courtyard. Great music throughout the evening, including a live jazz band playing on the courtyard. Hospitality and service was second to none and the owner (Abdelhaq) personally came over to speak with us and made sure we had a good time. A great night and we will be paying them a second visit when we next get the chance.

What a great respite from the Souks. For foreigners that needs bit of a break from the sensory overload that is the wonderful Big Square and Souks, this rooftop is made to order. Their bruschetta was maybe the best thing I've eaten in Marrakech.

This place has a very cozy vibe and fun music. We met friends here and enjoyed our time, but the service left a lot to be desired. More like Parisian waitstaff where you have to insist and remind them on what you ordered - and they won’t ask each person what they want. Food was very tasty and drinks were good, but the prices are quite European.

Wonderful place:) And very contrast to Marrakech streets. You feel like in colonial times a little bit when you enter. Service is a bit slow, all the rest is good. I enjoyed the evening there

La Pergola is located inside of a cute, typical hotel in Marrakech's Medina. I came here attracted to the many positive reviews, and was met with very positive support by staff. Starting from the positives, the rooftop is almost completely covered by greenery, with beautiful pergolas that really complement the pleasant music. Drinks were a bit on the pricier side, but they were certainly made with fresh fruits and ingredients. The food was served quickly and the waiters even adjusted our servings when requested. Karim helped us with both choosing the right meal and fixing some minor issues we encountered.

The atmosphere is lovely, especially at night when there is live jazz music. Abdelkarim, the manager, was friendly and welcoming. The views are quite nice, with plenty of plants that help cool down the place from the burning sun. The drinks were equally nice, I personally recommend the juices and smoothies. The one I had the opportunity to taste was Red Fruits with Orange Juice, which was beautifully served with rose petals.

Been coming to this place every night while i have been in marrakech and i can honestly say it is the best place in the city to get a drink!! They speak the best english of any place i have been. The vibe is amazing and the staff are even better! The manger abdelhaq is really accommodating and the waiter Ayoub has amazing customer service, even when it is busy! I would like to thank the whole team for making my time in this city memorable!!

Bad service, very racist! Drinks are overpriced and not tasty. This was my first bad review I’ve ever written, but the service was so bad I had to warn others and give an honest review. The place looks nice though, so if you want to take pictures, go for it. But don’t go for the drinks (not worth it). Never again!

The food was beyond amazing, flavours were phenomenal, I was very impressed, hats off to the chef ( we had the chicken cutlets and pumpkin dish). The music was fantastic and tasteful, the singer was lovely as well as the musicians. The staff were very good and so friendly. This place was the highlight of our trip. 10/10 bravo

Nice place located on the rooftop of a fancy hotel. There is a bar and drinks are great. Food was good too but much expensive vs other places. Service is not included and our bill came to 970 dirhams so I rounded it up to 1000 dirhams but upon payment they said "we take 50 dirhams minimum for service". He said it with an attitude but it was fine. We paid it and the place is good for a hip hop vibe.

A friend and I stopped here for the live music and ended up having a great night! We first sat downstairs but realized it was more chill upstairs. After switching, we got the Moroccan starter and shared it which very good, full of flavor, and filling! We also started with the specialty mojito which was good but not strong. It’s super cute inside and the music created a great vibe. The staff was very friendly!!

What an amazing place. The interior is to die for! Super friendly and helpful staff who go beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and just a really chilled environment overall. Chakib was amazing he was funny, attentive and he provided perfect service with a big smile. He made sure our sunset view were provided letting us to the higher level to enjoy the sweet rays 🌞 We will be coming back for more 😊

The place was great even from the entrance. The receptionist was nice and showed us the way. Sarah led us to our table and gave us the menu. I can say the food was spectacular and the ambiance was exquisite. It was a good decision to come here. I would highly recommend this place to my friends. And they apoligized for the delayed dessert but that was fine with us we were willing to wait and enjoy more the place. Thank you.

The vibe was really cool. Although we couldn’t see the live music from the VIP section at the very top, we were comfortable. Hamza, our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were very expensive, 290 Duran for 2 beers. But is to be expected in such an upscale environment. Get there early to sit where you can watch the music.

Great place! Great atmosphere with great food! Lovely sitting at the rooftop with the live jazz band playing below! The two restaurants are in the same venue with le pergola being on the rooftop and the bistro being on the ground level. Great service from Mohammed. Really recommend this place for good food and the daily live jazz band from 8pm was great. Good value considering the quality of the food.

Yahya was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make our experience as great as it was! The ambience, music and vibes were excellent. We had the Moroccan tapas which was more than enough for two of us + was a gorgeous mix of flavours + several drinks. Nice cocktails and good price for beer at happy hour. We would 10/10 come again!

Ayoub, Habi, Jamal, and the other staff were excellent. The food was exquisite. The atmosphere was incredible (as was the band). Honestly, this might just be the best venue in Marrakech. If you want a sophisticated ambiance without the fuss, and a ton of good, reasonably priced food and drink, come here. You won’t regret it.

Amazing place, an easy recommend. Food: had beef burger, switching out the black bun with a normal one (you have to ask for that). It was great. Service: waitor was welcoming us smiling, happy to take any modification to what we were ordering, and happy to help throughout. Atmosphere: perfect jazz ambience/atmosphere. Especially when the band started playing.

Wonderful afternoon spent sat at La Pergola! Reviews were good but we weren't sure what to expect... absolutely amazing. The staff were so lovely, making us laugh, and the cocktails were so tasty. Soukaina was the perfect waitress. We will definitely come back on an evening for the atmosphere.

Great bar and restaurant in Marrakech. Abdenabi was our host for the night and we absolutely enjoyed it. The food was amazing, the drinks (especially the signature drinks) highly recommendable and this surrounded by a Jazz live band, this was the perfect closure of our two weeks in Morocco.

Issam looked after us extremely well. The best hospitality we’ve had in Marrakech. Aziz running our drinks was lovely too. Food was fantastic (recommended by Issam) and the music was beautiful. Water mist spray was a lovely touch - comes from the ceiling periodically to keep you cool. Must come here when in Marrakech!

Vibrant restaurant in a beautiful setting. The rooftop is covered on some parts so there's no real view of the Medina from up there, but the atmosphere is really cozy even if it gets quite crowded. Mandatory reservation to be sure to get a table. Tasty food with some interesting twists to the original recipes. Affordable wine prices. The jazz band plays at the ground floor of the Riad, but there are screens on various places of La Pergola to see the band. The music is also not too loud and creates a wonderful jazzy atmosphere.

What a gem of a place! Definitely worth a visit for a relaxed Moroccan vibe with live jazz music also. Food was amazing. Some of the best flavours we’ve ever tasted! The staff are all wonderfully friendly especially our hostess Hiba. She remembered us from a previous visit and gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

Reservation is a must or you’ll be waiting about an hour just like me on a Tuesday night. They have a beautiful restaurant downstairs too but the menu and seating is different from the rooftop. You also get the pleasure of hearing the live music at the downstairs restaurant upstairs as well. My personal ratings 1-5 (5=top tier) Atmosphere: 5 Service: 3 Food: 3 Drinks: 2 Price: 2 $$$ Overall: cute atmosphere but the food was basic

A lovely jazzy place with interesting tasty food We had a great experience at La Pergola. Although we didn't make a reservation in advance, we were manage to find a table available around 5:00 PM (but I still recommend making a reservation if you're planning to have dinner). The food was very tasty—we ordered a veggie burger and the 'Tanjia Gastro' in the style of Joël Robuchon (a signature dish). I recommend trying it; it's a well-balanced and delicious reinterpretation. We also enjoyed some cocktails during the happy hour, which had reasonable prices for alcoholic drinks. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant (I'm just sorry we missed the evening concert). I believe the above-average prices reflect the quality of the ingredients, combined with the ambience, decor, and service quality of this establishment. I recommend it for a unique and positive culinary experience, with style and a jazzy atmosphere.

I went for happy hour on the roof. Calm relaxing music and had friendly cat to keep me company. The staff was very nice with great service. The food was really good, had briouat recommended by the waiter. The beer was ok, but good where alcohol is difficult to find.

The Moroccan Mule is delicious, and a generous serving size! I ate the tanjia burger before I could get a picture because I was very hungry. It tasted as good as it looked. Juicy and fresh!

Stay away from the happy hour cocktails, don't know whether that was horrible due to the happy hour, or their cocktails are generally like that, but yet that's the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth.

Amazing Riad with and outstanding rooftop. Good variety of drinks. The only downside is that according to them currently there's no live jazz due to Covid. It doesn't make much sense since there isn't any sort of restrictions when you go there You don't even need to walk in with a mask on...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS**** IT'S A SCAM We went for just dinner and they scammed us out of £200 pounds as they kept telling us our card did not go through when it went through every single time. We went back the next day and they said they would send us the money and it never arrived. After leaving the country we gave them multipe opportunities to pay us back and multiple card numbers and they never did.

Great atmosphere, good/ fresh food and the music was also very nice. Lots of vegetarian options to eat and the veggie burger was amazing!

We had a lovely evening. Our waiter Omar was the best. He was so friendly and made us feel welcome, he answered all our questions and the service was excellent. The food was good and tasted nice, but could have been a bit warmer, we ordered the XXL sharing platter, which consisted of different pastries, vegetables, bread and dips. The drinks were cheap and we had nice wine and the local beer was good.

For days I was searching for a nice place to chill and have a cold beer, and finally I found La Pergola. The place looks very nice and modern and the terrace is comfortable, even it doesn't have any view at all. It's a nice place to go to sit and have a drink I guess. I was there in the afternoon, so it was quite empty, I have no idea how it is during the night and I didn't try the food.

Live jazz music by the pool, week rooftop seating. Started off with a Beatles song. Our server: Mouad immediately served Moroccan traditional tea and a beautiful silver tea kettle on a gold dish. Way to start with a delish dish. Special thanks to Ayoud for making a rooftop table JUST in time for our sunset view overlooking the mosaic pool 3 floors down. This is a first, and Morocco is my 25th country! Ages of late 20's to early 50's. All well dressed. Order The Pergola Plate, appetizer (veggies with Moroccan twist and beef). For me, the house specialty for 2 - $30. Great experience. Wait until you see the unique dessert menu!

A super funky oasis with interesting drinks, great service and awesome snacks. Live music was killer! Ordered the special beef tagine with red wine and it was brilliant, served in the clay pot at the table. Melts! Abdelhaq was a funny and kind host, and my man Ayoub the waiter, such great service! Came up for a drink after getting a facial at the spa downstairs and ended up staying for hours! The service was excellent and the food/drinks were delicious (I recommend the Love in the Orange Grove cocktail!). The atmosphere is quieter and more relaxed during the day and by the evening when the live music starts it's really lively. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a phenomenal lunch here today, excellent staff. Decided to return for drinks in the evening and Haitam remembered us from lunch, so we talked with him a bit. Youness was our waiter again. You can’t go wrong giving this place a visit, excellent food and drinks with a superb staff. Especially the spiced sangria.

Amazing food and experience! A place we’d recommend to friends and family, Abdelhak (the manager) made sure we had a night to remember. A member of our party (birthday girl) had a chance to get up on the stage with the band and perform with them. Our waiters, Amoud and Habib: fantastic service! Amazing spot for drink on the roof and with live music, even in winter time! We went back 2 nights in a row. The waiters are great, and prices very decent, nice to have blankets as well. Merci, cannot wait to come back in summer :)

I phoned the bar and reserved a table for 7 people when we got there they could not find our reservation. I have to admit the lady was very professional and helpful and we got our table. Great atmosphere and location. Very cool space with live music every night. Decor and space is well designed and very unique. Service was very slow (took 2 hours for burgers) and took over 30 minutes just to be greeted once we were sat upstairs. Drinks are a bit pricey.
