I am honestly just surprised that google says this is a 4 star hotel. Aside from seeing multiple people freak out during breakfast from the cockroaches, the smelly lobby, clogged showers, and no drinking water available even for purchase. The stay was nice. Some of the receptionists were very nice and pleasant but other were extremely ignorant and unprofessional. When I got there they told me my reservation was canceled with no notification what so ever because “maybe there was no money on my CREDIT card” that I literally used in 6 other countries in that same month. They were also “Not responsible” for booking from their official website. I literally had to go to a cafe near by to purchase the same exact reservation for the same price. Its almost funny. not to mention they were literally fighting in front of me. The rooms are pleasant, I usually stay in hostels and have a blast, but if someone books here expecting a 4 star hotel, they should expect more of a motel experience. which I guess makes sense for the price. Safe travels and hope you have a blast in Casablanca!

I was staying at this hotel only for one night, for free, the room was provided by Royal Air Maroc air company. The hotel is very old, beds and the furniture also. The staff was very nice and helpful. But there were insects in the room so that I couldn’t even turn the light off, may be those insects don’t appear. The hotel also provides 3 time meal, meal is “so-so”. Because of the insects in the room I give only 1 star. The hotel must figure out this big problem.

Dirty, room smells very bad. Walls are dirty. This should not be a 4 star hotel. The picture is exactly how I found my room. Looks like someone was there before and they didnt clean up. The desk service is also extremely slow. Switching rooms will take 30mins

Took about an hour to get there, I was transiting and this was too far for comfort. The rooms are just manageable and there is this very oppressive odour like stale urine, also the bathrooms are a big mess, poor customer relations by some of their staff too.

Maybe it’s just my luck but I hadn’t encountered the problems others seemed to have during their stay. It is indeed true that some parts of the hotel are in need of renovations - smells kind of weird in the lobby area, but when you take into account the pricing of the room compared to competitors it’s actually very worth it. Had an issue with the bathroom light in my room (wouldn’t turn on), got moved into a new room instantly, great customer service.

We're traveling in a group; the rooms are very low quality, extremely dated and not maintainef, dirty, with many bugs crawling around; smells of smoking is all over; water runs down from the bathroom; one of the corridors in the 2nd floor is soaking wet and smells from mold. The environment is very noisy from clubs outside.

The quality of the service is mixed because some people were amazing and others were the worst. The rooms were dirty as well as the bathrooms. I had an allergic reaction because the sheets were dirty. I felt so bad being there because I couldn't touch anything (I am not a cleanliness maniac, just to give you an idea of the thing). We were in transit, and almost everyone didn't have money of the country and they didn't take cards because "their system was down". So we were to die of thirst until the buffet offered by our airline company. I was lucky because the kindest guy helped me find an ATM. THERE WERE NO ELECTRICITY. People around us had electricity but the problem was the hotel itself. I don't recommend at all.

Old 4 stars hotel (very old). No recommend at all. Everything was broken in the room, laundry service not available in our stay and some of the staff was rude with us. Last but not least they don’t have any hairdryer

Rooms are old, outdated, musty, dingy, & smell like mildew. Don't book this hotel the pictures on the website are deceptive. Had to put towels over the sheets to even lay down on the bed. Please believe all the reviews and definitely do not book this hotel. DISGUSTING

This hotel looks like it was once grand, but has now fallen onto hard times. The room was fine, everything worked, but hotel was quite shabby, the breakfast was bare bones (there was not even butter one morning), the common areas very dark and dingy, and the service was reluctant. I was put up here for free by Royal Air Maroc when they messed up a connecting flight, so I can't judge its value-for-money, but I think that Royal Air Maroc could and should do better.

This hotel does not deserve even 2 stars. Unbelievable mess, greased and unwashed windows, the sheets thrown on the beds just so they don't complain that the linen doesn't exist, the bathroom with water flowing through all the holes and through all the joints of the installations, towels - only 1 piece - the remote control is missing, and there is no wifi... In instead, you can fully hear the music from the two party halls located near the hotel. Pathetic hotel, pathetic conditions offered. Plus point - the kindness of the staff, but insufficient reason to return or recommend!

Stayed here on a layover with Air Maroc. The rooms were more like a hostel. One towel in Bath, no air conditioning, shower leaked from the spigot. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The free meal was OK. Close to old city, but a 40 minute drive from the airport. About a mile walk to the mosque and Market and a mile to the ocean to watch sunset over the Atlantic.

Good points :beds are very comfy, shower is good, location ideal from train station and city centre. Breakfast not bad but no healthy snacks and no water. Bad points: Room smells very bad so bring some fresheners with you. No kettle, no hair dryer and no iron in the room. They will eventually bring you what you need, but you have to insist.Service is slow but exist. Overall not bad for the money you pay! Remember that you have to pay 20 Dh per day tax on the top of what you pay 😊😊 If they upgrade this place and improve their service, it will deserve 5 stars.

This is one of the weirdest hotels i have ever been. We were brought here by Royal Air Maroc and the hotel gave us keys that didn’t work. You had to have an employee open the door for you. Also the pictures online look nothing like the hotel and the walls are peeling. The area also appears to be sketchy. Definitely would not recommend

the pricing for this hotel is definitely on the high side, and some may find it too expensive. Additionally, the Wi-Fi in the room was slow and unreliable, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, my experience at the Grand Hyatt was very positive. The location and luxurious amenities make it a great option for those looking for a high-end hotel experience in the heart of New York City. However, the price point and unreliable Wi-Fi could be a barrier for some travelers

Terrible. Dirty, no towels to take a shower, I had to use a little one because they did not have. The worse place I've been in my life. Do not go there. Shower is terrible, did not work. Bad is horrible. Everything about this place is terrible. Never again . This hotel is not even 1 star. Breakfast terrible.

Here's why I highly recommend this hotel in casa: First and foremost, the hotel staff was incredibly professional and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by a gentleman at the reception who made me feel instantly at ease. He was very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions I had. Additionally, he kindly offered to park my car, which was greatly appreciated, especially considering the hotel's central location in downtown Casablanca where driving can be challenging. When it comes to the facilities, I was delighted to find that the air conditioning in my room worked brilliantly. With the summer temperatures, having a cool and comfortable environment was essential, and the hotel certainly met my expectations in this regard. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, a testament to the staff's attention to detail and hygiene. Lastly, I want to highlight how quickly I was able to access my room. After a long day of travel, it was nice to be able to relax in my room in no time. The hotel team was efficient and ensured a smooth check-in process. In summary, this hôtel in Casablanca was an amazing experience. The friendly and professional staff, convenient parking, efficient air conditioning, and impeccable room cleanliness all contributed to making my stay highly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Casablanca. Wishing you a fantastic stay!

Yo, this hotel is the bomb! The rooms are straight-up dope, with comfy beds and all the amenities you could want. The service is on point too - the staff are friendly and always ready to help out. And let's talk about the toilets - they're clean AF and always stocked with plenty of TP. Overall, this place is lit and I would def recommend it to anyone looking for a chill spot to crash.

This is a nice hotel. Staff is very respectful and welcoming. Hotel decors and lobby are very pretty. Giving 4 stars, because the room was smelly (smelled like wet started to go bad). Also, water in the sink was standing after we washed hands. AC didn't cool room much. I think when we entered AC was set to warm temperatures. After changing to cooler, it took time, but still, didn't cool much. There were no towels or shampoo. There was only 1 bar of soap (maybe it's a normal practice for hotels like this here). We requested towels and shampoo. Breakfast was ok. From hot food, oatmeal and stemmed veggies were offered. Hot boiled egg, Croissants, sweet bread (looked like pound cake), cheese, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, hot and coffee, orange juice were available. There is an outdoor seating area. Also, SPA services are offered here. Casablanca, Morocco 🇲🇦

We were provided free accommodations as we had a 13hour layover to our original destination on October 13th - October 14th. It's located downtown casablanca, 1h from the airport. I'm suprises they couldn't find something closer. This hotel is most definitely not 4 stars. If we could have chosen another hotel or even paid our of pocket for an upgrade we would. The hotel is not well kept. The room (on the 1st floor) smelled bad and had mold in the bathroom. The beds were hard and the TV barely worked. Also, there was no TV remote to change the chanel. In the bathroom, there was only 1 towel, barely any body gel, no washcloths and no bidy cream. I'm not overly upset about the washclot since it seems to be cultural thing. But I had to got to front desk twice just to get an extra towel and the body cream was never delivered. The customer service was poor. Although they were not rude, it was clear did don't get paid enough to care about their customers so they are never nonchalant about everything. Although the food was complimentary offered at specific times, it never started on time. We would have to wait 15 to 20 min after the time it was supposed to Start. Don't ever stay here. Not worth it even if it's free for layovers. Definitely give us a negative impression of Casablanca.

Worst hotel i ve stayed in my life. Only one towel for 2 persons, we asked for face towels and they told us they only give 2 towels for each room. The hotel doesn t have AC. The dinner was tasty, but it had 2 options and 4 types of “salad”

I am really shocked by the quality of this hotel which doesn't deserve even one star . Too dust under the bed and no fork or service for breakfast . And the worst thing that they asked me to pay a tax of 80 dh when I was leaving the hotel which I have already paid by my bank card .so , I paid 80 Dirham I didn't receive the bill. Be careful and don't trut the advertising

AT GLANCE: This place is close to the City Center. A bit loud at night time due to clubs below the hotel and the Tram station running next to the hotel, which is within walking distance, accross Radisson Blu hotel. There are many places to eat near. HOTEL: Friendly check-in service with free Wi-Fi, though it works best at the lobby and breakfast area; however, it fails to have food Wi-Fi service inside the rooms. ROOM(s): Had to move from the first room due to bathtub having mildew around the edges and it was just disgusting to take a shower and the tub-floor was peeling off. I was impressed with the black marble bathroom, but it sure gave me dreadful feeling of anxiety - gloomy feel. On the other hand, the white marble bathroom had a much pleasant and calming experience. BREAKFAST AREA: It’s decent for what you need and the variety is just enough for a good morning pick me up and start of your day. The only unpleasant experiences were the amount of small cockroach critters roaming around the breakfast food displays and walls as well as the rancid:spoiled orange juice they had served for the last 2 days until it was definitely noticeable and when I mentioned it to the the staff; they did nothing! Then, I went to the front desk and spoke to someone about the spoiled orange juice; of course, after a few other people complained of the situation to the same breakfast staff member and it was finally taken down and replaced with fresh watermelon juice. 👍🏻 OVERALL: The experience here got better as soon as they changed our rooms and the food was fresh. Kudos!

The hotel is old and located in central casablanca. The location is ideal for those who want to walk to the medina and the surrounding areas and it is not far from Casa Voyageurs train station . However, it desperately needs to be refurbished.

The hotel is kneatly kept with beautiful seren. Nice affordable hotel rates. Good breakfast. Housekeepers very cheerful. The Staff are polite and hospitable My profound gratitude goes especially to Miss Rajae who humbly and patiently assistanted in completing our online covid-19 form.

The hotel has seen better days. The lack of maintenance shows in the rooms and common areas. The buffet breakfast is good though, with several options available. Can be noisy at night, depending on the location of your room. Close to a tramway station, which is convenient. A good deal if you reserve via booking or agoda.

There is no way this can be classed as a 4 star hotel. Once we arrived at our room - after a long walk through dimly lit, paint-peeling hallways - we were met with two yellowed, sweat-stained pillows sans cases. There were also no towels in the room and the bathroom had been poorly cleaned (there were still hairs and dust everywhere). Once I alerted reception, I was met with an ‘okay, we’ll sort it’ but no apology or explanation. We then hoped to find a snack or drink after a long day’s walk, but despite their website advertising a ‘Mediterranean restaurant and hotel bar’ there was nothing of the sort. They offered to show us the nearest shop for drinks - definitely not a bar!

The Imperial Casablanca Hotel & Spa must have been a 4-star hotel a couple decades ago. It's dirty, in need of a lot of work and an update. The bedsheets had hairs in them, the toilet flush system got stuck every time you used it, the shower didn't drain water effectively and it had a leak underneath that wet the bathroom floor. The staff didn't leave 2 sets of towels despite knowing there were 2 people staying there. I had to call the reception to ask for the towels, they told me they were going to bring them up. 30mins later I decided to go down to the reception to ask for them. The receptionist told me they were understaffed and he was waiting for the valet to take the towels up. I returned to our room to wait, and 45mins later decided to go down to the reception and not get back up without the towels. I had to wait for 10mins more for the receptionist to go to a room to get the towels. This is awful and unacceptable service. Also, the breakfast was lousy, very poor and not at all what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. We've stayed at 3-star hotels in Morocco that were infinitely better than the Imperial Casablanca Hotel and Spa. Not recommended at all.

I can imagine how gorgeous this hotel is back then, high ceilings and quality curtains, white walls and black color flame, but it really needs a big fix, bathroom especially.

  • 1/5 Jamie-Lee G. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel should be free. It is so bad, everything in the hotel is broken, nothing advertised is supplied. Hot water was broken, no bath in the room, we were moved to another room and the air conditioning was broken. The kitchen was closed and I wouldn't want to eat there anyway. The hotel and city is falling apart and the area is unsafe. Just don't even bother with this place.

I'm glad happy having 5 day stay in your good hotel. All personnel from front disk, restaurants, spa and room cleaners were so good and kindness . Having a guest anything I want to request in my room and in restaurants at time was given. Thank you so much for your generous services and delightful foods. Thank you so much for accommodating us.

Is the worst hotel i stayed în my life. They put only one towel in the room and when we ask for more towels, for body and for face, they said that tey offer only 2 towels per room. The bathroom is dirty, the room also is not so clean. The room doesn't have AC. The dinner was tasty, but with only 2-3 options and 2-3 types of salads.

I’ve booked the conference hall 1 month ahead for them to prepare. I was so dismayed because the hall was very hot, no aircon, my guests are complaining of head aches. They’d promise microphones for us to use unfortunately it’s not working, the receptionist is not helpful, the manager whom I’ve deal with, didn’t pick up my call or bother to response my message. Generally, we received a very poor service. I hope they’ll bother to improve .
