This is a decent family vacation complex. However, I would like to point out some significant drawbacks: (1) outdated plumbing in the VIP cottages, which are rented for about 2300 euros per week, (2) a very important point! The staff does not adequately monitor the condition of the equipment in the water park. To explain, the tubing for sliding down the enclosed water slide is poorly inflated and does not secure the rider. During my slide, my deflated tube caused me to flip over and be covered by the tube. I hit my cheekbone on the bottom of the slide and suffered a back muscle strain. This is a real health hazard!

The main attraction-- the water park -- is so cold that it is effectively unusable in winter. At checkin, towels and bed linens were not provided, despite having been booked and paid for. This then required walking to the reception, since no one ever answers a phone there, and waiting in a line of 30 people. The indoor attractions are immensely overcrowded and therefor can't make up for the dismal pool experience.

This was our first vacation in a center parc. So I have no comparison. I am not sure if I liked it or not. The parc has a lot to offer located in a big forest. The swimming pools are great and we loved the farm with lots of different local animals. The house was clean and the bathrooms were nice. But everything was also quite expensive. Most activities cost extra and you need to book way in advance to get a slot. Climbing then was cancelled every time just before the start due to wet conditions (which could’ve been predicted). The site is huge. Our house was about 2km away from the center. We have small kids so no way to walk. We ended up renting a golf cart, which was nice but also 250€. Not sure if I would do it again, at least not with small kids.

Loved: the room Liked: the set up Hated: the food Just concluded our weekend at our first Center Park. We really loved our room with fireplace, we booked a "Cottage Premium New design", very cozy, cleanliness ok (except small details but acceptable), must be even more awesome during the hot season. Nice view on the trees from the window. Tip: make sure you bring a hand soap with you, since that's not provided. It's our first experience at a Center Park, as mentioned, and we liked the set up and the idea. There is so much to do and to see that of course one weekend is not enough. As others wrote in the reviews, the distances are quite far as the booking algorithm gave us one of the farthest apartments. Knowing many other villas next to the center were available we would have appreciated a location-upgrade, after all they could have made us, the customer, happier for no extra cost for them. So as others here wrote, we ended up commuting with our own car, being the weather not so nice and having a baby with us, making it not the car-less experience we would have expected. Also, as others wrote, if you are there on a Saturday, get ready for a very crowded Aqua Mundo! Try to go during non-peak times if possible. Since I was expecting this experience from reading other reviews, I wasn't too disappointed. Now the food: this was greatest DISAPPOINTMENT for us. I don't know if this is Center Park's standard (I hope not) but this could really be a deal breaker for us. The first evening it was late and they sent us to the "pizzeria", only open restaurant. We weren't excited because we already had a very good home made pizza at home the day before, but had no choice. The "pizza" at "Il Giardino" was just awful, I wouldn't even call it "pizza". It felt very industrial quality, raw on the top, completely burnt and bitter on the bottom and with a weirdly seasoned tomato sauce. Pasta for our toddler was completely overcooked and had nothing to do with a "bolognese" sauce. The day after we tried the buffet and for the price we paid, the quality was simply insufficient. The only non-processed food was a meat filed cooked on the spot, but that was too chewy despite asking for a "saignant" (rare) cooking. Ice cream also felt very industrial/chemical, same for the sweets and cakes, all very yucky, unfortunately. Too bad for the food, if this is the deal, it's just better to cook at your own apartment, however during a (short) vacation I'd rather not spending all the time cooking myself if I want something decent and healthy for me and for my children.

    1. When we first arrived, they gave us our keys and a map with no other explanation. When we arrived at our cottage we noticed that we were miles away from all activities and needed to either book an e-car or bike. We navigate our way to the reception and when we ask to rent an e-car they notified us that we were at the wrong location. 2. Our room was extremely hot, we found three flying roaches in my daughters room, and spider webs in the second guest room. The installed ventilation system did not work and they did not provide any soap. Based on my booking, the only item they would not provide for the room was towels and cleaning service. They did not mention no soap. 3. The morning of day 2, we head over to the breakfast area. Bugs everywhere and all over the food. It was disgusting, and the food was also cold. I approach the waitress and she did not seem to care. Many families requested a refund on the breakfast because of all the flies in the food. It was bad. 4. Restaurants smelled bad and most of their bathrooms in the main activity zone (by the food and reception) were dirty and smelled. 5. The evening of day 2, we head to dinner, we made reservation at the Le grill, one of their restaurant in site. It started to rain outside and the restaurant started to flood. The waitress come to our table to notify us that they ran out of most of steaks, potatoes, and most of their Juices. The restaurant opens at 1800 for dinner and we were seated at 2000. We leave the restaurant and everywhere inside was flooded. 6. Morning of day 3, breakfast was moved to a smaller location with a smaller buffet menu because the main breakfast areas and restaurant was flooded from the night prior. This did not stop the flies from taking over the food. Overall experience was bad. The activities they offer are fun, but you can probably find these closer to your home and not have to pay over 2,000 for this. It is not worth the money. Lastly, they do not have english speaking staff. So make sure you download a translation app on your phone.

Great place to stay for a family trip. The parc offers a lot even if it's raining. Our girls just loved the aquaparc and the many playgrounds. The food was very disappointing and, in my opinion, too expensive. I'm aware that at a holiday parc, everything is a bit more expensive and this is fine for me but the poor quality is not okay for me. The pizza was actually quite good, this I can recommend. We had a cottage with sauna, and I really enjoyed the sauna. For 1 person, the sauna is great for 2 people quite small. The cottage for us, a family with 2 small kids, just perfect. We really enjoyed it. We also booked the breakfast, and this as well was great! This will not be our last visit! Thanks for the staff of the parc for this great experience.

our second time here for a weekend away as a couple the cottage was lovely. we loved having the vip cottage with sauna and hot tub. it was very clean and well equipped we brought our bikes but the cottage was still very far away from the centre with a lot of steep hills. it didn’t bother us but we saw a lot of people using their cars which takes away from the “green” experience when there were many electric shuttles going to and from the centre. i cannot judge the food as we only cooked at the cottage as we found the food expensive in the restaurants and were happy to cook. the aquamundo is big and there’s alot to do but it gets extremely busy at certain times and you can barely move all in all it’s a nice experience but it’s important to do your research first to not end up spending a lot of money or time on avoidable things

We've been here a week now and no entertainment in the evenings. Restaurants close at 21.30 then back to our house by 22.00. You can get late drinks in the bowling bar but be prepared to wait 30mins for a drink. They're completely understaffed but respect to the bar staff, they're trying their best. If you plan on bringing bicycles, make sure you train for 6 months prior as the hills in this place are not for the couch potato 😉. Overall, no holiday atmosphere or entertainment in the evenings is a big no no, for the money we paid (over 3,000€ including 250€ for golf buggy). The swimming pool is included in the price but all other activities are not, so get a second job before you come. House wasn't clean. Clearly not mopped before we entered as we had black feet after 5 mins in bare foot and the cupboards and surrounding area were sticky 🙃. This is the 4th Centre Parcs we've been too, Germany, France and Belgium and probably the last. Not value for money.

A Relaxing Getaway Amidst Nature My family and I recently visited Center Parc Trois Forêts, and overall, it was a great experience. The natural setting is stunning, surrounded by forests and lakes, which made for a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The cottages were comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed having our own kitchen to prepare meals, and the deck with a view of the forest was a highlight. The activities available on-site are extensive and cater to a variety of interests. From swimming in the pool to bike rides through the woods, there's something for everyone. The Aqua Mundo water park was particularly fun. The best was the savage river! However, the reason for the four stars instead of five is that some of the facilities showed signs of wear and tear. While the overall cleanliness was decent, a few areas could use a bit more attention. Despite this, we had a wonderful time reconnecting with nature and spending quality time together as a family. If you're looking for a nature-oriented getaway with plenty of activities, Center Parc Trois Forêts is worth considering.

We had a 4 bed house, number 933 for a week in late August (summer). Good - fun slides at the water park - modern houses with nice furnishings - beautiful forest in the middle - lots of playgrounds for kids to explore - bifold / bay windows in houses - lots of small car parks near your house, not in a large car park like other center parcs so it is easier to leave on day trips/supermarket Could be improved - beds are too firm - unable to turn off or easily control central heating system in house, thermostat was unnecessarily complex - long distances between houses and centre or forest lodge. There’s a bus but it is slow as it only goes 1 way and is not frequent. - indoor playground at ZePlace was closed for safety reasons Tips - bifold / bay windows could get hot in summer if facing the sun as house has no air conditioning. Ours faced north so no issue - Recommended to use a golf buggy, a bike or scooter. The park is hilly and vast

Very nice long weekend in this Center Parcs. We enjoyed a lot. The swimming pool is great for kids and teenagers. The bike ride was sometimes challenging but we love it.

Overall, really good experience. The park and rooms/cabins were kept clean & the staff was courteous throughout the park. Only feedback is to do most activities it costs extra. For the price I paid it seems more should have been included.

We stayed here for 5 days in the summer holidays and apart from the weather we had a fantastic time. The parc is huge so I would recommend hiring a golf buggy to get around on. The swimming pool is brilliant with a selection of slides and nice little outdoor pool. We stayed in one of there 2 bedroom adventure lodges as we have a young daughter and she loved it. However I think they are a little overpriced for what you get. A self catering lodge without a proper oven, in my opinion, is a little silly though. There is a microwave oven but it takes some getting used to and really isn’t my cup of tea. There is a few restaurants on site that were very busy and we didn’t use but they had a great looking menu and the food smelt lovely. Unfortunately my language skills aren’t great and as this area isn’t really a hot spot for British visitors the parc doesn’t really cater to the English language. Most of the staff did speak a very good level of English but certain signs were only in French or German. Overall we had a great time, the staff were super friendly and the whole place was immaculate.

It was super beautiful trip and stay here. The Rooms and everything was really good the only thing was our room, which was far from the center, the buggies were really expensive for one day, and there was no other way to go to center, with 2 kids it was difficult, the bus was so rare and we didn't get one to the center. Otherwise Totally we enjoyed a lot.

Well, we overall had a decent time there. For the plus There's a lot to do, you can easily spend a week here and not run out of things to do. The pool is always included in the price and always warm. Our kids got sick and the information desk was quick to send a response unit and eventually an ambulance. So yes the kids are well taken care off. The information desk and reception are the only place English is spoken. We did not book a kids bike but they gave us one for free for the week we were there. For the negatives : Firstly, it is great for kids, lots of activities for them, they will not get bored. However, the downside, all the activities are way overpriced and it adds up quickly. The staff for the most part does not speak any English and even after you say so they continue speaking in French. For a tourist destination, that is unacceptable. The food on site is horrendous. Way subpar and overpriced. Again no English and the quality poor. Sadly you do not have a lot of options if you want to gooutside as there aren't a lot of restaurants around. There is a supermarket nearby where you get stuff to cook and eat at the bungalow. The restaurants are never open as they say they are, some of them close early and without any prior notice. For the price, having us remove all the bedding and clean up completely after ourselves is not acceptable The buglows heat up a lot in the summer time, there is no ventilation or even a fan on request, so make sure you equip yourself if you come during the peak of summer.

The rooms are good but the air conditioning was not working that well. Anyway, the park, the activities that you can do, the water park, the restaurants, it was a super good time that I had there. Will come back for sure.

Rooms in the cottages are bad. Not clean, lots of vermin, especially lots of ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. Loose planks on the terrace and dangerously protruding screws. Service very bad. Upon arrival and reception at the park barrier, I had to hand over my passport under false pretenses and first walk 10 minutes to get a wristband!? When I refused, people became angry and even aggressive towards me. They also spoke neither English nor Dutch. So that made communication extra difficult. All very customer unfriendly.

Very nice park, quiet and spacious. You do not have the feeling of being on a holiday park. The house was very clean. There are some flies and ants, but in our opinion this is to be expected in a forest. The swimming pool had many slides and thing to do for kids. There are enough activities, but they come at a hefty premium. The concept of this parc leans on making you pay more once you check-in. Food is expensive, and transport is either via golfcart (€130/day) or bike rental (less so, but also quite expensive). Anyways, the kids had a great time. But it would be a lot nicer if they just made the Parc more expensive and the rest regularly priced, so you know upfront what you are about to pay.

We visited Les Trois Forêts with 4 kids aging from a few weeks to 10 years. We loved the park and especially the surroundings. The park is buil in a forest and it gives the feeling that it is a small park while in the meantime it is a enormous park. Tip: try to book a cottage close to the Dome or book a golf cart (they a worth it). There is a lot to do for both the young and older kids, and also for the adults. The restaurants are very good and the staff is friendly. We loved the pool, which is acutally really big! Would recommend to go here, especially on your family vacation!
