Perfect place to visit around sunset. Really nice Ferris wheel inside the sea water. Beautiful view of the beach with its bars and restaurants on one side and sunset deep in the sea on the other side. A must visit if you are in Haag. It was not crowded on a weekday at the time of sunset.

De Pier in Den Haag is a true gem nestled along the picturesque coastline of the Netherlands. From the moment I set foot on this iconic pier, I was captivated by its beauty and charm. The stunning sunset views that unfold here are nothing short of magical, leaving me in awe of nature's grandeur. As the sun begins its descent, casting warm hues across the sky, De Pier offers an unrivaled vantage point to witness this natural spectacle. The panoramic vista of the North Sea combined with the striking silhouette of the pier creates a truly enchanting atmosphere. There are several ways to immerse yourself in the beauty of the sunset at De Pier. Taking a leisurely stroll along the wooden planks, with the gentle sea breeze on your face, is an experience that rejuvenates the soul. The pier's design incorporates comfortable seating areas strategically placed for optimal viewing, allowing you to relax and lose yourself in the captivating scene. If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend visiting the Ferris wheel located at the end of the pier. As you ascend, you'll be treated to an unrivaled perspective of the setting sun, the vast expanse of the sea, and the breathtaking coastline. It's an unforgettable moment that etches itself into your memory. If you're in Den Haag, a visit to De Pier is an absolute must. Prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of the sunset and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of tranquility and awe. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Terrific beach that has a lit of California vibes. Great for families and couples. Many food option’s available along the beach at the clubs. Each one has its own vibe. Amazing

If you are going to The Hague to visit it, I recommend you visit the beach and the pier. Pillars in all colors that support the pier look great. If you want to experience the extreme sensations there are bungee jumping next to the giant carousel wheel from which you can admire the views, the North Sea and the splendid city. I recommend you to stay high and see the whole city very beautiful in any season!

The pier has a lot of food options and cute stores to buy tourist souvenirs. It can be quite busy but it’s still a very nice place to see and walk around in. The top pier views of the beach and sea are great.

This is really a nice place to stroll, eat or snack, meet friends or have a drink. You have a lower deck with lots of stands, bars eateries, plublic restrooms. Then you can access the open air upper deck with a fantastic view of the sea and beach. Such an amazing close to Den Haag. Epic.

This is a wonderful place to go walking on a cloudy day. If you go early enough, you can get some great shots with hardly anybody in sight. It does somewhat look a bit tired having seen better days. There is a good variety of restaurants and bars. There are toilets as well but you need to pay a small amount to enter. The ever popular wheel is a must do!

A beautiful experience in the sea shore . The Pier is so beautifully designed and all types of entertainment facilities created for all age groups starting from small kids to ahead people that time passes away without our knowledge. The top of Pier is very windy and this adds to the enjoyment. We took two new food items : Chorus and Calamari fish. Very delicious.

It is an old building, so keep that in mind when reading this. It has many attractions and street food restaurants. You can also bungee jump or zip line, although if the wind is too strong you won't be able to do the former. I rode the ferry wheel and I must say it had a nice view of the coastline, although if you are already afraid of heights I would not recommend riding on a windy day as the cabins sway back and forth. I recommend it 100% if it's a sunny day, as the view is quite nice.

Always nice to stroll here around and have food. There is Kibbeling, Lekkerbek and Haring which you must try when you're there. Just beware of the seagulls, they prey on your food. This day the weather overturned quickly as expected and in case of rain there is always a possibility to walk around the pier.

Great fun and nice views. There are plenty of things to do, play as well as places to eat including delicious chips (fries). I recommend a walk around and the view from the pier during sunset. Epic! The access is easy and accessible. It can be a bit busy at times, but it is part of being a popular place.

The main attraction by the Dutch sea 🌊, beautiful beach, pier and a lots of attractions, bungee jumping, zip line, ferris wheel, huge selection of restaurants, shops etc ... something cool for everyone. At any time of the year there is something to do here and you can spend a good time with family and friends. Wonderful sunsets 🌅 what could be more beautiful? 😍😁😉

This is one of the absolute most obvious places to visit if you’re in the Hague. It looks amazing and inviting from distance and the view when you’re on it is fantastic. They also have great shops and cafés inside. Situated in the middle off the beautiful Scheveningen beach Plus being right next to the symbolic huge carousel wheel, it’s impossible to miss. Except for these Covid times It’s usually full of people and life which makes it even more exciting and fun to be there. This however can also be the downside if you don’t like too much people, therefore I will “only“ give it four stars but it is strongly recommended to visit! Especially in the summer of course!

I totally recommend it. Doesn't matter how the weather iw, there is always people here. The beaches are really wide and the view is amazing. Parking here might be difficult and it costs around 4€ per hour. We were here for one night and stay2at hotel Corel. It is situated max. 10min away from the beach by foot. We payed only 60€ so we could afford paying another 30€ for the parking. Normally you don't find hotels this cheap. Also you have to include another 10€ city tax.

Tacky tourist trap. Beware the seagulls! They'll land right on you if you've got food. That said, the pier itself gives great views of the sea, and you can spot local surfers just next to the pier.

Wonderful views of the city and if you are crazy enough, you can take a fast ride down the cable car. The whole area is excellent to spend an afternoon; there are several restaurants around, souvenirs shops and a lovely beach with huge strand of sand.

We came on Sunday and it was really crowded but even tho it was crowded we didn't wait too long. You have offers to buy drinks or to even eat in a cabin which is really cool. View from cabin is amazing. When we came it was still day but after when night fall it was really beautiful too 🤩 We came by a car and we were there for 3 hours and parking wasn't that expensive as we thought it will be. If i remember correctly we paid it cca 12 euros. They also lot of restaurants in hall to the pier.

Great place to unwind with your family or pets. Easily acessible by tram near Den Haag station, reachable in 15 minutes. Take a Ferris wheel ride or day drink at the bars are good options for your trip here. Seafood options are plenty and fairly decent price.

A bit run down, but plenty to do including a lot of fast eats and sit down restaurants all with gorgeous ocean views. There is also a great pay-to-play kids obstacle course and trampoline house (unsupervised, but enclosed) where the little ones can blow their energy. A lot of shopping and surf lessons available.

  • 4/5 V.A.M. V. 3 years ago on Google
Probably the best way to enjoy full views of Scheveningen and eating something nice at the same time. Also some cocktailbars are located here, a hotel at the end and various eateries throughout the length of the Pier. Toilets are here as well though quite expensive (1,- euro) and it might get too crowded during sunny days. The food here is delicious and there are terraces on both sides and the upper deck. Also nice to know; there's a Surfschool located here as well.. must-try! For fish lovers; try the Kibbelking! A food-outlet selling pure fish-and-chips 🙏🏼

Wasn't that good for us although very interesting. We missed the lift. It was greatly needed. So, this was kind of a deal breaker on our experience. The shops are OK and prices in retail are also OK. And there are a few nice Sofa spots. Upstairs is cool, but too much trash is thrown in corners. This pier needs a thorough cleaning upstairs. Other than this, for those who like the thrill bungy jump and co seem to be really fun. Nothing for me.

Near De Pier is a beautiful place in any weather. There is long beach with boulevard behind where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants, Legoland, casino, beach shops and fast foods. Inside De Pier is also couple shops and fast food bars. Unfortunately a lot of them was closed. Maybe because is no season on Valentine Day. Whan we come on reception it was empty but than come some man and I was surprised that he just fast look to my passport and print QR code on paper. Than he took us to our apartment which was nice but not so clean. I think that the owner don't put a lot of money to this building(but minibar is for free). After his introducing we find on QR code paper a date of stay. There was one night stay intead of two. So we get back on reception and find that he was just some facility service guy. Real man on reception fix our stay on two nights. When I was looking for apartment on De Pier first thing what I went was terrace and I found pearl tube on picture. So a make booking for a more expensive room with this tube. When we come there was normal bath. So maybe this facility guy give us different apartment. But nobody knows.

It’s one of its kind. This is the first time I’m seeing a ferry wheel on a beach. The experience was very good and not at all scary. It costs around 8 euros per person for a 12-15 min ride. There are restaurants in and around the pier. It’s also a good photographic location.

  • 4/5 Nick K. 1 year ago on Google
1 recently rode a Ferris wheel, and I loved it! The view from the top was breathtaking, and I was able to take in an expansive view of the skyline. The Ferris wheel offered a gentle and smooth ride, while still providing enough excitement with the height and speed. I really enjoyed the experience, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable outing. - Price a little bit expensive

  • 5/5 balesh b. 10 months ago on Google
The good part is that the giant wheel is built on. Platform and due to which it gives a great view of the beach and the sea. You can even see the guys doing bungy jumping and the zip line 😀.

Must visit for the big ride... The skyview ride gives you a great view to sea and beyond... It's not an adventure ride but more like a slow descent so that one can enjoy the sea view...nice souvenir shop and plenty of places to enjoy food and drink.. And hey don't forget to collect some awesome seashells by the beach

Well. The beach was ok, came in at not-so-good weather day so hardly can describe. Not many thing happening here. Lots of restaurants but some of them closed. There’s a casino in here but I didn’t go check out.

Recommend to visit. Even in January you’ll find it crowded. Beautiful beach full of surfers, plenty of cafes and other entertainment facilities.
