So bad here. Came for Xmas decorations and they had very little in stock. Picked up a few bits and went to pay and was told to remove everything from the basket. Asked for a bag I was told rather gruffly that there was none. Now I have 15 items to carry in my hand to my motorbike. Really no bags or just bad customer service?

Definitely a DIY place. Any tradespeople would be desperate to buy in there with high prices, go to Wicks or selco. Don't stock full size plasterboard and scrim tape £12 a roll. Walked out with nothing as they didn't have all that I wanted and what they did have was expensive.

Great, I love popping in to see what lovely flowers they have especially when they are discounted. Always a good experience.

I had some stuff to return at Homebase but unfortunately, I lost my receipt. Then the staff asked me to show my bank statement for the transaction but when I showed them it on my phone, they changed their attitude and called the manager. When the manager came, he was so rude and he didn't bother to listen to me. This manager was the most rudest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I am so shocked how Homebase chose him as a manager. They should sack him from his job.

I am a regular customer, I buy a lot and continuously here, my English is not good, this time I want to return some small things, but I can't know their names because my English is not good. , I asked the staff to find which invoice was correct among the invoices I bought last time. but he refused and was very rude , and wouldn't let me return the items , the service was terrible .

I visited the store to buy some plants, but sadly, most of them didn't look fresh. It seemed like they were old and needed to be cleared out. I assumed that the store might be short-staffed since there was only one person managing the shop floor and checkout counter. Although the store is vast, I would suggest buying plants from B&Q. They occasionally offer discounts on plants. On the other hand, Homebase is quite expensive.

Could find most of what I wanted but it took a while. No staff to help - only two on the single till (which used to be the customer service counter). So in line with all Great British stores, Homebase customers are having to pay more for a much lower level of service, while the lowest paid are being put out of jobs. Not a good look.

So i bought some bevelled edge metro mid grey tiles, 3.5 m2. Turned out to be different widths in different boxes. 3mm difference in some. Very annoying when youve started laying only to find this out!!! Dont by cheap tiles on a deal as this probably means they aint right! Too late to return and luckily i can tile so know a few tricks. A novice would probably cry.

I'm only leaving one star because I'm not allowed to leave 0 stars. I came here today for a simple gas refill service. After being told by the customer services lady that my bottle is coming I sat and waited for 10 minutes. When I asked her to double check what is taking this lo g she didnt even reply. Few minutes later her colleague came along and I asked him to check this for me. At that point they realized that no one is going to bring it and when they tried to get someone to do it he simply refused. Then it took another few minutes of people wondering around. A few times I asked a member of staff to help me as it was clear the the customer service lady does not care about the customers. While I was waiting (around 25 minutes) I noticed that all customers that tried to get something from the CS left unhappy.

Happy with my products but not the customer service. I ordered via click and collect. Called ahead to check if my brother could collect on my behalf, if I sent him pics of my ID via Whatsapp to show. I was told this would not be possible. (Would have been easier for me, as my brother lives close to the store, whereas I'm an hours drive away, my local store did not have stock) So I had to go in person, surprise surprise.....ID was not requested or checked! 🙄

Properly inflated prices(£11 for a half metre stick) limited range,rude staff.

Homebase is always amazing, but most of Christmas Items is gone , there is still amazing prices on real Trees! 😀

The store was well stocked. I found everything I was looking for which unusual for me when goodvto buy hardware anywhere. Parking available and disabled access available.

I like coming to this store but do not always make a purchase because I think many items are not competitively priced. They offer an array of products from DIY goods, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, garden plants and accessories and more. Set up over two floors and easy to navigate through. Great place to get ideas.

I visit this Homebase quite regularly to buy plants. They have a lot of discounted plants which are definitely worth buying. Pretty satisfied every time I visit the garden section, always leave with something. Staff are friendly and helpful, no issues at all.
