👍 Very easy trails, big open areas, and lots of tables. Nowhere near as busy as Elk Island. Great for families with little kids, as the short non-technical trails will let them have fun. This isn't the place to go for a long challenging hike, but that's not what this park is going for. The only big d...

👍👍 This place is gorgeous. Thanksgiving weekend was perfect with all the yellow trees. The climb up the hill is a bit steep. If it's rainy I probably wouldn't risk it. Beautiful quick trail with so many birds and chipmunks. Highly recommend. Bring bird food to feed them!

👍 Beautiful space for boating, hiking, biking and picnicking. We come here for the kayaking and it's so quiet. There are very few people that use this launch because they don't rent boats here. There are a number of routes one can pick once out on the water. So at peace with nature.

👍 Nice day use area and overnight camping 🏕. There is lots of parking and public washrooms are available although the washrooms are not flush. There are trails that you can walk to the lake that is close by. The campground ⛺️ has non power sites and power sites. This place is off the beaten path but...

👍👍 We went here in mid fall. Some leaves still on the trees. Overall a very pretty setting. The weather wasn’t so nice on this day, so it was quiet. The walk out including the loop around the lake is about 3.5km and was relatively easy, fairly flat with a few small hills. Didn’t see any beavers but lot...

👍👍 Had a wonderful hike, some excitement with a Bison. But the real excitement started at 7.5 Km. Came upon a momma black bear and her two cubs just walking towards us on the trail. The cubs were curious and just kept coming. We retreated to higher ground and kept talking and after about 20 minutes the...

😐 Its a great location for a campground, on the river bank and next to the golf course. Lots of grass and trees, bathrooms are nice and clean, staff are great. The sewer hookups are a bit difficult to access, too close to the power and water post. Most of the spots are very small and close together wi...
