👍 The staff was fantastic and really made us feel welcome! The park had many tent sites available and he suggested site 42 as having a lovely view, but warned us of the gravelled incline as we were on motorcycles.
The site was grassed over and generous enough for us to pitch our two backpacking tents...

👍👍 Had ice cream here Moonmist it was delicious, when I’m in the area I always stop by and get myself a great ice cream, it’s very close to the town, where there is the local park :) or you can see the boats coming up and down the locks

👍👍 Beautiful lighthouse located in Battery Provincial Park. Well maintained and a spectacular view. Picnic park is included in the park so you can either visit here for a day, or camp in the campground. Al facilities are well maintained, and the staff is fantastic.

😠 Unfriendly staff, awkward environment, clearly didn’t want us there. We later found out they were closing but we didn’t know because online it says different hours. Food was mid at best, do not order the hot hamburger pictured below.
