👍👍 Went here while we were in the area. Just a nice small little beach. It was a great spot to see the moon and I assume an excellent place to watch the sunset. Not sure if it gets busy during more normal hours as it was already night when we went.

😐 Parking here can be limited. There are lots of trails in residential areas that connect to the main Deer Lake loop trail. Try street parking near Royal Oakland Park. Free street parking - up to 3 hours allowed, more than enough time to walk the whole park.

👍👍 Large and plenty of spaces - went on a hot and sunny summers day, zoo was absolutely packed but parking lot was 3/4 full at best. Fixed fee of 8 dollars for the day, however free if you coughed up for an annual pass.

👍 Great place to park when commuting into Vancouver. Express bus from here goes directly to SkyTrain station over the Port Mann. So much easier than fighting traffic into Vancouver when I want to go downtown.
