👍👍 A very nice place in the middle of the old town of Düsseldorf. Here you can always find a few minutes of reflection and peace in the Saint Andreas Church, which was taken over by the Dominicans at 7:00 p.m. 72

👍👍 A peaceful place. Definitely worth seeing. Will be closed for one year from August 2024 due to renovation work. And don't be disturbed by the grumpy man with his people counting device who has no manners and bullies everyone.

👍👍 St. Maximilian is a gem among the city churches in the old town of Düsseldorf. The interior decoration varies between baroque, rococo and classicism. The altars, the pulpit and the stucco work are well worth seeing. Access is barrier-free.

👍👍 The most beautiful church far and wide and the community is great too! I particularly like the classical architecture and the chapel with the black Madonna, as well as the painting of the Merciful Jesus. I always feel so safe in this church, I don't want to miss it.

😠 Church drives out homeless people with steel bars in front of the entrance gates. So much for Christian charity. Presumably the homeless didn't have enough donations for the rich white church leaders to cover up abuse scandals and finance golden toilet bowls.
