👍👍 We were lucky enough to run to the top in sunny weather. I mention it because the monument looks very beautiful on the top in the sun and the rainwater that has collected below. From above you have a wonderful view in all directions.

👍👍 Die Halde Rungenberg ist für Naturliebhaber, Wanderer, Hundebesitzer als auch für frisch verliebte Päärchen ein absolutes muss. Es ist nicht nur "Dieser EINE" Ausblick, den man dort geboten bekommt.....es sind eher die unglaublich Atemberaubenden momente, die wir alle genießen...

We were there on Sunday and the beer garden was open. There was fresh cake. The palace or castle was closed. Probably only used for private events. It's a lovely place to go for a walk. Lots of different options.
The path to the nearby dump is also very nice!

Halde Scholven (Auenland)

👍 Schöne, kleine und eher unbekannten Halde im Ruhrgebiet. Gelegen auf dem Stadtgebiet von Gelsenkirchen. Unten befindet sich ein kleiner Parkplatz. Nach ca. 15 Minuten Fussweg ist man oben und kann dort eine tolle Aussicht geniessen. Scheint auch sehr beliebt bei Reitern zu sein, da uns mehrmals Pfer...
