👍 Beautiful swimming area (unguarded beach) with entry point for canoes and SUP. Lawn for sunbathing with large trees (shade) and several benches.
The managed kiosk (with toilet) has a beautiful terrace. Food - e.g. currywurst, bratwurst, fries, fish rolls, ice cream from the chest and various drinks...

👍👍 Even though the monastery has changed a lot since the beginning, as it was originally built near the Kiel Fjord. Why? Because according to the story, a hunting knight found the deer that caused the building with its cross in the middle of its antlers near Preetz.
Not much of the original monastery...

🫤 Leider mittlerweile ziemlich ungepflegt, da könnte die Stadt mal bitte was tun.
Ab und zu sind wir schon auf mega unfreundliche Hundebesitzer getroffen, die anscheinend nicht verstanden haben, dass der Platz öffentlich ist und nicht privat.
