Best places: State liquor stores in Borgarnes, Iceland

👍👍 How could anybody give less than 5 stars here? Come on people, this is the only store with alkohol in town. Appreciate it.

😠 11,000isk/80$ for a 1l bottle of vodka instead of 4000 at the airport, similar price hikes for everything else. Disgraceful robbery. So make sure you buy everything you want before you leave the airport. It may be stupidly expensive compared to USA and Europe but at least it's not obscenely expensiv...

👍 A lot of alcoholic drinks, even from Poland. Yet there is no price scanner but if you need beer thats for sure the best place to buy it. However not so cheap.

👍👍 What a way to start the day, woke up as early as I could so I could grab a cold "cold" one with the boys. Then we realised it opened at 11am, we didn't mind though cause we were so hungover from LAST night haha! Honestly though, when we finally did get there the beer was GOOD, like a high tier GOOD.

🫤 They make refrigerators for a reason, one is to put beer in them so they are cold. Place had warm beer, useless employees and high prices. But only place to buy booze. Gas stations only sell beer flavored water.
