👍 Liked this little village and right beside the beach. One can walk from clogherhead to baltray on the beach a round trip of about 12 or 13 kms. Clean and safe . Didn't go swimming but a few were I bathing.

👍👍 We love going here for a swim. The beach is secluded and safe. There a really great atmosphere here with super friendly regular swimmers coming and going. The steps down to the beach are very steep and caution is advised. It’s not acceptable by wheelchair or with buggy’s. Great spot love coming here...

😐 Great place for a walk. But very little parking at the old Newcastle railway crossing. Around 20 small cars at the most.
