Silent Cinema & Film Studio
Movie theater
👍👍 An evening at the Silent Cinema in Galway is highly recommended. It was such a novelty for me to watch some of the earliest film which has been put together so well. The overall experience of the night is so enjoyable because of the the room decor, background music and bring your own wine! Lots of c...

👍👍 Lucky to have been recommended Ireland West Tours from my hotel. Our driver, Pat, was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, funny and accommodating...Great guy! We needed more flexibility than a bus tour could give us as we needed to be back in Galway earlier than the bus would allow. Pat showed...

Seattle Stone, Galway
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Hypothetically, if you put your finger on that point in Galway and someone else does the same in Seattle, you would be pointing at each other. The angles of the arrows on the rocks are such that each one is pointing directly at the other through the earth

Public beach
👍👍 First time in Galway and I didn’t know about the beach, it was a surprise. It is close to the centre and a very enjoyable walk. The colours are amazing, can’t wait to come back once again.

It was only a couple of us, so we jumped in a car together and drove all around, checking out thatched-roof buildings, the seaside, the university, and more, learning the history and just chatting about Ireland. Brian is warm...

Deadmans Beach
Park
👍 Hidden beach. Nice for swimming. The oil storage area was moved in recent times and looks a little like a nuclear plant! So for beauty it loses out to the liles of salthill but a quiet haven away from crowds. No facilities.
