Best places: Coffee shops in Siena, Italy

👍👍 Blandis is a great little spot surrounded by a beautiful peaceful surrounding :). We've had coffees and heaps of pastries in the past few days and I can totally recommend everything :) the owners are also very welcoming and kind.

👍👍 Best local cafe, very warm and friendly. Coffee is excellent and a lovely local vibe, we visited about four times over a few days. Thank you for the language tips and helping us improve our limited Italiano. Excellent range of snacks and beverages too. Definitely recommend.

🫤 Word of warning to coffee drinkers: baristas here do not pull true doppios — they “overpull” a single shot as opposed to drawing two shots which is effectively stiffing the customer. In a true doppio, one should look for the two eyes (see photo, not from Nannini), indicating two espresso shots.

👍 Welcome stop at Bar Caracas for a beverage along Via Camollia. It is a little utilitarian but the beverages are great and it is quiet with a large bar in the front of the restaurant. Not crowded midday with both cold and hot drinks, alcohol and non-alcoholic.

👍👍 Ottimo per un pranzo al volo sotto il secolare leccio di fronte alla Fortezza, a due passi dal centro. Prezzi bassi per piatti ottimi e vari. Menzione d'onore al tiramisù, i gelati e i piatti di frutta. Gentilissimi. (Fatevi tentare da un "inutile"! Mauro vi consiglierà al meglio!)

👍👍 Nice service, great food and drink right on the square in Siena. Tuscan pizza, great crust topped with delicious prosciutto. Caprese salad with awesome olive oil over it was very nice. Espresso potent, syrupy, not bitter.
