Onewa Domain
Park
👍👍 A great spot, convenient, lots of available parking and heaps of space across the fields. There are rubbish bins on site, unfortunately some people choose not to use them & I usually do a little rubbish pick-up on my visits. There is also Smith's Bush there which is a great little set of boardwalks...

👍 Great little park. Friendly dogs for my boy to play with. Gym equipment set up around the walkway. New basketball court looks great also. Great flat park for walking after my back surgery. Update: people need to be more in control of their dogs. This is not an off leash park. Not every dog is ok wit...

👍👍 I am glad we chose this place last Saturday. It was really a great walking trail that offers so many different walks for different folks and you can choose a long or short trail or you can do all.

Little Shoal Bay Reserve
Park
👍👍 A lovely quiet little reserve with a great picnic area and a playground. When it's high tide the water is great for wander around in as it will generally only be waist deep out quite far.
Lots of parking too and a tennis court across the road.

Eskdale Reserve
Park
👍👍 One of our favorite places to walk with our dog without a lead. Really good for a run as the loop is around 3km. It is supposed to be for bikers too but it's probably not as much fun for them on account of all the people and dogs walking and running at any given moment.

👍 I like this place. There are some great photo opportunities of Auckland City, day and night, and if you're into architectural photography, you can get some great shots of the underside of the harbour bridge.

Kaipatiki Park
Park
👍 The cricket ground down at Kaipatiki is great, the outfield is nicely marked and is very fast. The pitch is in great condition and there is plenty of parking, the only downside is that the boundaries are too small, scores of 400+ are seen at games played here with a lot of sixes and fours.

👍👍 Great reserve for a beautiful evening walk. We started from Onetaunga road entrance, walked through the reserve. On the way back we took a diversion to Kendall bay.
