ππ We stayed there on a last minute trip. What stood out to me was how great and friendly everyone were. The 'neighbours' we had were friendly. The access was great. The facilities were actually nice and clean.
I normally don't stay in holiday parks but I would gladly stay here again!

ππ A really big store, nicely laid out with plenty of stock. Every thing for hunting, fishing, tents, camping gear, clothing ... it's a one stop shop with everything you need at great prices. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff so you get the right gear and maybe a good fishing spot.

π Classic Kiwi pub. No fuss, friendly service. Chips tasted like chips and beer tasted like beer and was nice and cold.
Some local characters had some banter amongst themselves which you can choose to get in on or not.
Nice large garden and picnic area.
Great old school, nostalgic experience.

ππ Brilliant! I needed an obscure part to fix one of our door locks -- otherwise I would have to replace the entire lock mechanism. King & Henry had a used part in the back of the store -- in as-new condition. Two minutes and $2 later and it was mine!
