👍👍 Can see Funchal. A bit run down as if forgotten. Bottles of beer everywhere. If you go to appreciate the views its great not the environment in general

👍👍 If you're willing to gain some elevation while walking here it's worth it. A small park with really incredible views and was very quiet and away from any crowds.

👍 Double advantage for this place: the panorama of the port and the bay of Funchal is superb and it is possible to get there on foot from the city, be careful however it climbs seriously. If you go there by car there is a small free car park but very often full. Worth the detour.

👍👍 Curral das Freiras "Miradouro" very high but stunning, everything natural is breathtaking plus a lot of respect for its natural and even wild beauty along the way, I highly recommend visiting, you will never forget the peace and natural beauty 😉
