👍 Interesting place which houses a military museum which is only 1€ to see. Beware though, it's on four level's with steep steps.

😠 The castle is cool and has a nice view, but there is a home at the entrance with a dog chained by it’s neck outside the entire day. It has its voice box removed and if you get close it is constantly crying. It’s really sad that no one has done anything about this given it is illegal in portugal and...

👍 The second Castle and Walled Village of the day. After Numao, now Ansiães. Not being as imposing as the one in Numao, it is well worth a visit. Do as I do and watch them both. Very laborious road. Downhill and uphill, sometimes with Douro in the background.
