Shark Rock Pier
Tourist attraction
👍👍 Standing at the end of the pier still offers some of the best views back to the promenade, hotels etc. With the lovely boardwalk connecting all the way from one end to the other, possibly around 3km in length, lovely stretch for a run, a walk or to take the figures for an outing, just lovely.

Wezandla African Craft Traders
African goods store
👍 Nice items from which we bouhgt some of them. Why only 1 star? One item was a lamp, which doesn't work. Unfortunately at least we ware able to test it back home in Germany. Now we have a nice lamp without any functionality. Until now no reaction to our e-mail we wrote to Wezandla :-(

Lower Guinea-Fowl Trail
Nature preserve
👍👍 One of my favourite outdoor spaces and right in the middle of the city. There are various access points to the Baaken's Valley, but I chose this one today. The Lower Guinea Fowl trail is part of Settler's Park and a beautiful space to just get out into nature. Bird and butterfly life abound and the...

It is open to the public and it was beautifully revamped in 2017.
