👍👍 The Matara Beach is popular with locals and tourists. Its s long sandy beach that catches a nice swell cominf from the south so under the right conditions can be good for surfers. To avoid the crowds of the city many head west about one km to Polhena or east a few km to Medawatta.

😠 100% agree, 3000 Rs entry for the worst music and a club full of snobbish people who think they are super important. Terrible atmosphere in my opinion.

👍 Reasonable ticket prices. Electric car ride available for rs. 1000 per couple (rs.2000 for 6 people) for one hour. Driver will take you a guided tour with in that one hour covering the park. Additional charges will be added if the time exceeded. Walking in park will be very tired with the sunlight.
