👍👍 Thoroughly enjoyed our Alpaca walk with Espresso. The kids just loved it, all its wee noises, walking it up and down small hills. The coffee rest stop with cakes and colouring in was really good too. Throughly recommend for kids. We also got to see their pigs and piglets. Great place.

👍👍 £5 entrance (which can be paid by card), but oh-so worth it! Firstly though, I do recommend visiting when the temperatures aren't too high & the sun isn't too warm. There isn't much shelter on the way to the dam, which makes it a harsh trip when too warm. Great walk though if you take the longest r...

Kilclief Beach

👍👍 Gorgeous beach on Strangford lock with a small car park for about 20 cars. The beach has a gentle gradient, so good to go for a swim (even in October when I was there). There are rocky outcrops meaning plenty of rock pools to explore when the tide is out, and they are used by the local seals to sun...

👍 There's a large layby at the entrance next to the main road then there's a narrow tarmac lane ( no height restrictions) that takes you down to the main carpark next to the edge of the lake. There's two paths. One is a tarmac path for wheelchairs which has disabled parking and a picnic table that has...

👍👍 Darkley Forest is a small, mainly coniferous plantation set on a steep sloping valley above the River Callan. The information board in the car park states the longest walk is 1.9 miles although from the time taken, I think it may be closer to 2.5 miles. The plantation is surrounded by a border of...
