👍 Lovely country park with some beautiful scenery. On the outskirts of Barnsley South Yorkshire it's a nice place to visit with walks and activities for children. Plenty to see.

👍👍 There is a really small carpark, which we managed to squeeze into. Really nice place, there are walking trails to follow or you can give your own way, little one chose which paths to go and I followed. Paths were still wet and muddy, from the day before; with that white, clay kind of mud that's hard...

👍👍 Great place for a walk (Dog friendly) with a picnic. Cheap parking, free entry to Museum, Gardens and Park. Easter trail & crafts, playground and Swan boats on the Serpentine. Cafe for drinks and cakes now in walled garden. Gardens looking good.

👍👍 Lovely playground. Nice and clean and spacious. Plenty of places to have lovely walks. Kids can ride their bikes and go on the skateboard park. Seats for adults to sit on too.

👍 A compact 9 hole course with a fair few challenges. Best holes are #1 #2 and probably #6, small shop but ample parking.

👍👍 This has been one of my favourite spots for years, since my teens. Lovely place for a leisurely walk, soak up nature and chill out. Take the family for a picnic or just walk the dog. Maybe you need some alone time a great place to meditate.

👍👍 Lovely park. The volunteers and people that use the park do a fantastic job of keeping the park safe and clean for us all to enjoy. There is something for everyone and the little ones can see the trains go past whilst sitting on the swings.

😠 The park is fine,but when you have travelled for an hour to watch your daughter play football and the toilets are closed that's not good
