👍👍 Fantastic day out!! Parking isn't great worth going early. I'd take chairs due to the ground being peddled and very uncomfortable. House flies, ect, but expected anyway. Good for a day out with the kids or with the doggo. Kids loved exploring the water, peddle skipping, and also met some new friends...

👍👍 This place is Beautiful 🤩. For everyone who likes a paddle, walk, a best river with a Ford. I think only modified jeeps etc can pass over here, it's deepest at winter. I've only ever only witnessed a vehicle cross here, aha it was a jeep with snorkel exhaust 👌

👍👍 Fantastic place to take the dog they can even go in the river for a cool down (kids like to as well). Would highly recommend. Picnic tables as well in the meadow. Lot's of dog bins as well. Only bad thing is carpark shuts at 6.30pm even in the summer months which is sad as could have many many more...

👍👍 Beautiful hidden spot. Small car park which is free to park in and closes at 8pm. Right on the bank of the River Usk, which is a beautiful place to go for a swim if you're into wild swimming. Plenty of grassy verges with sunny spots and shady patches for having picnics and bbq's.
