👍👍 Equidistant between Langbank and Kilmacolm this area of forested hillside is a great place for a walk. The cairn at the top provides expansive views across to Dumbarton, Cardross, Helensburgh, and down the Gareloch. There is a small layby on Gallahil Road (What3words - file.dupe.division) that accom...

👍👍 Great walking around there starting from Overton. The view is amazing and the route I took back down included 3 of the reservoirs. It was also very quiet although plenty of forestry work being carried out.

👍👍 When other reviewers say this is a short, easy walk, it may be for them, but for this moderately In-shape 70-year-old man, it was a bit strenuous. Roots and loose stones do their best to cause tripping and sliding. Nevertheless, the trip to the top was 1,000 steps and took a little over 10 minutes....

👍👍 Quite like standing at this point before deciding which trail might break me each time, usually spexy as I'm only there for the patter with the boys and a relaxing pedal through the woods and steep, muddy shoots to finish it off! Definitely will keep coming back. Keep up the good work 💪✌
