Burton Woods
Nature preserve
👍 The National Trust's Burton Wood is a lovely environment to visit. The Woodpecker created the most noise, followed by lots of bird songs. Primroses and snowdrops out, when we visited, and bluebells well on their way to flowering. An ideal place for everyone to explore.

Knowle Hill
Nature preserve
🫤 It's a nice walk spoiled by dog s**t unfortunately. I take my dog down here all the time and there's always something fresh for her to step in. Buckley could make more of the industry that used to be present here too. On a clear day there are some nice view of distant Merseyside.
