Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
Tourist attraction
ππ Cute and quirky. A great experience for adults and kids, alike. Jump off at Dungeness for fish and fried potatoes and the desert experience. Go to Dymchurch for the funfair and beach. Hythe is great for the canals and town shops. A lovely journey with lots to experience.

Dungeness Old Lighthouse

π Not for the faint hearted! Incredible views from up here, but the railings at the top and all the way up the stairs much lower than expected. Ladder at the top, and tiny hatch to crawl out through too, not ideal for short skirts, ha ha! Some very interesting maps and small displays inside.

Parish Church of St Mary & St Eanswythe, Folkestone
Anglican church
ππ Although I haven't visited this church for years, it was a VERY special place to seek some tranquillity in the chaos of modern Folkestone. I lived in The Metropole, on The Lee's, for almost 32 months...and regularly sought out this church for quiet contemplation.
Wonderful sense of history and you...

ππ Travel this wonderful light railway from Hythe to Dungeness and back. We recommend buying your tickets online and your start station being Dungeness.
