👍👍 Absolutely stunning walk. Started from Dufton as advised by other reviewers and it was pretty easy to make the way up from there, especially as a solo walker. Would definitely do again as apparently there’s amazing rock formations and other sections I had to miss due to arriving too late in the day.

👍👍 Be warned: make sure to plan your trip in advance! I've no idea where the nearest parking is but we cheated a bit (albeit unintentionally). We didn't see a no parking sign and continued down a dirt path where we parked opposite a gate - a 2 minute walk from the cave! It's a great place to go and exp...

👍👍 Fairly steep but not overly challenging climb that takes about 20 minutes from the south shore of Grasmere, rewarded with a panoramic vista from the trig point at the summit. Great aerial views of nearby Grasmere and Rydal Water, with Windermere clearly visible to the south. I parked at Pelter Bridg...

👍👍 Absolutely stunning place, well worth the visit and the walk up, even in the rain! Loved my time up and around the tarn, from seeing the hummocky moraine around the place as evidence of its glacial history and also for exercise. 10/10, cannot think of anyone who I wouldn’t recommend to come here.

👍👍 A really nice little hill. Views over to Morecambe Bay, Ingleborough, South Lakes etc. etc. You can see the M6 motorway, Kendal, Heysham Power Station, Grange over Sands, the Kent Estuary. If you like Limestone pavement you're well catered for. The landscape is incredibly varied for such a small are...
