👍👍 Absolutely stunning walk. Started from Dufton as advised by other reviewers and it was pretty easy to make the way up from there, especially as a solo walker. Would definitely do again as apparently there’s amazing rock formations and other sections I had to miss due to arriving too late in the day.

PREDATOR EXPERIENCE - Wolf Experience UK
Animal park
👍👍 Amazing and informative experience ! The wolves look small in photos but trust me they're bigger than they look and the real deal! Not only did we enjoy the company of the animals, but Dee and Dan were great hosts. Our car broke down when we were leaving and they offered us hot cocoa, food, fuel, a...

👍👍 Be warned: make sure to plan your trip in advance! I've no idea where the nearest parking is but we cheated a bit (albeit unintentionally). We didn't see a no parking sign and continued down a dirt path where we parked opposite a gate - a 2 minute walk from the cave! It's a great place to go and exp...

👍👍 Fantastic site with friendly owners. Thank you for the kendal mint cake. The site is situated in the country and is one of the best sites we have been to. Spotless showers, toilets and dish washing area. Dog area to let your pets off the lead. We would definitely be returning soon.

👍👍 Lovely place and such a great walk (roughly 2 miles) from stonethwaite campsite. It takes in some awesome waterfalls and shallow pools for the younger children to play in. Once you arrive at Black Moss Pit there's stunning views across the fields more notably Scafell Pike. There's a big jump from th...

👍👍 Fairly steep but not overly challenging climb that takes about 20 minutes from the south shore of Grasmere, rewarded with a panoramic vista from the trig point at the summit. Great aerial views of nearby Grasmere and Rydal Water, with Windermere clearly visible to the south. I parked at Pelter Bridg...

👍👍 We parked in Troutbeck and had a steady walk up and along the ridge to Wansfell Pike. It wasn't a very difficult walk up to the fell but was very boggy in places. The views of Windamere were beautiful and also great views of Ambleside.

👍👍 Absolutely stunning place, well worth the visit and the walk up, even in the rain! Loved my time up and around the tarn, from seeing the hummocky moraine around the place as evidence of its glacial history and also for exercise. 10/10, cannot think of anyone who I wouldn’t recommend to come here.

👍👍 Arnside Knott is an excellent walk with fantastic views for not much effort. (If you own some binoculars bring them on this walk). Follow the the single track road right to the very end - initially it looks like a road to nowhere as it becomes rough and a little potholed. Keep going up until you rea...
