Upon arrival I was a little concerned that almost all the visitors were 50+ and mostly men and I was visiting with my family including two young children. 👍👍 Lovely, well maintained family farm. Lots of animals...lovely to be able to interact with the majority of them. Free parking, great food, wheelchair friendly...the list of positives goes on. Well worth a visit. Tickets booked on line. Great day out for young and old alike.

👍 Wow, quite impressive scale of ruins, you get a good idea of what it was once like. Quite steep paths in places, but steps and bridges give access to most able bodied people. Dog friendly. Free parking and access to the full site. No cafe or shop etc.

👍👍 A very well run historical palace. Make sure you get to the church. It shuts early about 5, and for the best experience consider 4hours as about right. If you have an interest in gardens add at least one more. Cafes are good but shut 30 minutes before the house and grounds. No dogs,

Our tour guide (who's name I have forgotten-sorry!) was so knowledgeable and caring about what they are doing at Watatunga. It really was a fantastic and unique experience. It was lovely seeing the animal...

👍 Beautiful harbour. Next to large sailing club and close to The White Horse pub for fabulous views and seafood. Large car parking area but likely busy in summer especially. We parked easily on an August Wednesday afternoon. Can be muddy and wet underfoot.
