👍👍 We hadn't booked so called on spec. Waited just 5 minutes and table was ready for us. After poppadoms (with a generous portion of chutneys etc) wife had onion bhaji starter, I had tandoori lamb chops. Both well presented, see photos.
Can't remember the names of our mains but both were delicious.

👍👍 Have been visiting the Tandoori Cottage for 25 years. Recently reopened the restaurant which has been sorely missed for the past 18 months. Food great as always. The owners and staff as welcoming as ever. Definitely the best Indian food in town.

Ordered creamy butter chicken and a spicy bright red something arrived not sure what it was. When I called to ask they simply said this is butter chicken and all other indians make it wrong?? How have every other Indian in Shrewsbury been making it wrong for so long? Ha...

😠 Never came across tougher more rubbery chicken anywhere before , fork wouldn’t even go through it , my partners lamb was the same . All the meat was totally inedible. Awful tbh
