👍👍 Incredible day! 8 year old grand daughter's first Munro & ascent up the Ptarmigan route. Absolutely stunning, so lucky to experience an inversion! Loved this hill, nice to manage a loop instead of there & back. Definitely be doing more of Scotland's gorgeous hills in the years to come with these 2....

👍👍 Great wee walk 40 mins each way, quite steep at the start but it levels out pretty much for most of the walk. Bring waterproof shoes as it can be very boggy. Stunning views of Loch Lomond on a nice day, and make sure you persist to the unique rocks formation at the end of the walk.

👍 It's not the tallest hill, or the most challenging but the view from the top is fantastic. Starting from the large car park at the bottom, a walk up and back down can be done in an hour, if you want to enjoy the views and explore the rock formations, then give it 2 hours. The steepest part is at the...

👍 A very well kept castle ruin. Plenty of parking available nearby and seems to be popular with tourists and locals alike. An excellent place to explore or walk the dog. 👍 Came here after a long day in Edinburgh. Needed some peace and quiet and a place to walk our dog. We stayed in nearby Cambusbarron and knew this place from our first visit in Stirling - we've seen it from top of the Castle. There's small free parking place right next to the road a the northwestern...
