👍👍 2023 Best year for waterfalls! Lots of wildflowers this July! There's water and off/on shade along the entire trail. Sounds and views are beautiful the entire way. It's worth the 5 mile trek.

👍👍 Great place to hike especially in the Winter when you need to avoid the snow at higher elevations. If you start at one of the Pincushion peak trailheads (West side) you can hike over to The Gorge on the East side. During the hike you're likely to run into lots of grazing cows, some of which you'll...

👍 Do not trust Google map directions! Follow the signs off Hwy 180 for Converse Basin and Stump Meadow. The road isn't bad even a sedan can make it if you're careful. It's a nice hike that takes about 90 minutes or so. Beautiful tree but sad that the grove was decimated over 100 years ago. The hike is...

👍👍 A total hidden gem. An easy mile hike round trip, and the scenery is a near 360* view of many sites around Kings Canyon and Sequoia. We took the hike in the early evening and watched the sunset. It was genuinely the family highlight in a trip of many highlights. Beautiful and quiet.
