The museum contains a lot of resources about women who contributed to settling and building precedent for equal representation in Wyoming, from early territorial history to statehood and the present.

👍👍 A great university art museum with many rotating exhibits. And it's free with very easy parking. Be sure to visit the galleries of the attached American Heritage center which have many unique historical Western paintings.

👍 You have to get permission to actually visit the specimen collection, but there are really cool full mounts as well as lots of "round" mounts. Well worth a visit, but make an appointment so you can actually see the collection.
