Santos Trails
Park
ππ These trails are very well kept and the people have been polite. This was my first run here and you should probably have a little experience. Some of the trails have some obstacles that may be tough for beginners, but not impossible. Would recommend. There is an air pump station, tools, and a bike w...

Silver Falls State Park - South Falls Day Use Area
State park
ππ Awesome trek. 10 beautiful water falls.
North entry has limited parking. South has big parking space.
You'll cover all 10falls from South to North using the Canyon trail. Rim trail is just to get from north to south parking and vice versa.
Try to take 2 cars, not fully loaded. Park one in South park...

Abiqua Falls Trailhead
Hiking area
ππ This trail was definitely a lot of fun! If you drive all the way to the trailhead, I recommend a vehicle with high clearance and 4x4 (especially for the drive back up), otherwise you could rip your power steering lines or damage an axle.
This trail was lightly trafficked when I went on a Wednesday...

Holly Hammock Trail
Hiking area
ππ Walked the trail since it was part of the Florida State Forest Trailwalker Program. The trail is very well marked and the forest has a great canopy which gave some relief since it was getting warm in the afternoon. At the park campground area they had posted it was high bear alert, so we had our bea...

Mushroom Rock trailhead
Hiking area
ππ This was my third hike to Mushroom Rock, and each time I turned the corner and saw the massive mushroom-shaped rock, I was in awe. The hike via Shackleford Park Trail is easy, but unless you are up for a much longer hike with more elevation change, make sure you go to the trailhead at 2650 Sam Powel...

Ritchie Hollow Trail
Hiking area
ππ Awesome trail for the moderate hiker. Lots of fairly steep uphill terrain. The waterfall is gorgeous and if you still have the stones to continue hiking beyond that point the overlook of the Tennessee River is breathtaking. The waterfall is only accessible via hike however, the overlook can be drive...

Cumberland Trail
Hiking area
ππ Just completed the ~10 mile mullens cove loop yesterday. Beautiful and moderate hike with plenty of diversity in vegetation. We started the loop with the river view which I wouldnβt recommend as the final three miles were primarily up hill after an exhausting hike. Hiking along the river was beautif...

ππ Awesome place to hike. I did 6 miles and saw quite a bit of wildlife like deer, birds, spiders, and a small snake. Also lots of signs of wild hogs in the area.

Pot Point Nature Trail
Hiking area
π«€ After all the good reviews I was really surprised the this Trail was in such poor condition. In one area I could not find the trail at all and just have to walk through a grassy field for a while until I found the trail again on the other side. Also if you're going to do this hike you need to wear p...
