Garstin Trailhead
Hiking area
ππ You can park near 3138 Barona Road. A nice loop that took us two hours was to start up the Garstin Trail, once you get near the top take the left trail down, which connects to the Earl Henderson Trail. Henderson Trail then follows the wash back to the Garstin Trailhead where you started.

ππ I highly highly recommend the 2-mile (one way) Murray Canyon Trail. This was the highlight of my day! Right away I was greeted by so many blooming wildflowers over the landscape. Once I reached the creek I saw many palms that stretched on for a long distance. I got to see the Seven Sisters Waterfall...

Araby Trailhead
Hiking area
π Small parking area right off E Palm Canyon and Rim Road. Trail starts just off to your left as you look uphill. Hard to see it's signs among all the 'no trespassing ' signs. But a very enjoyable hike. Saw Roadrunner birds!

ππ Really beautiful even if you go a short way up the trail. Itβs not an overly challenging hike, but itβs definitely a hike and not a walk.

ππ I went to do a short hike to see if I could get some sunset photos. I didn't get to complete the whole trail due to my timing but did catch a great sunset. It is a great trail with beautiful scenery. I didn't pass anyone else on the trail. Plenty of street parking available.

π This is the best trail for spotting bighorn sheep. Most often seen after passing the Josie Johnson sign heading south.

ππ Really good trail with different level of difficulty. Dogs allowed. We didnβt find any benches or seat place, but we found a heart. Parking easy with a lot of car, seems safety.
