Best places: Seafood restaurants in Montevideo, Uruguay

👍👍 A place right next to the food market where the locals have lunch. The seafood is so good we came back the next day to do it all over again. The service is excellent and the locals love to talk to you. Go here!

👍 The chef personally came and guided me on what to order , sat at the bar and had the best seafood meal ever . The Sea Bass and Octopus was awesome as was the squid . 🫤 Not as good as the Google rating. Fried fish is OK, very basic food. Nothing special here. Service was good. The seating is very poor quality and not as nice as pictured, unfortunately as it is near the water but with no water views.

👍👍 If you’re looking for a filling lunch, look no further. We ordered 2 sandwiches, both with some kind of fish. The portion sizes were huge, and the quality of the food was great. It kept us full for nearly the entire day.

😠 Food here was pretty gross. Completed unseasoned not sure how it has this high of a rating. Location and design of the place is nice but it’s definitely not for food.
