Brittany did a great job on my massage. We went in for a couples massage and came out relaxed 😌. It was a bit busy when we first arrived but overall a nice place to get pampered. They had a great 'quiet' area where you could sit and relax. Some of the ladies provided good customer service while others not so much. I think this spa could definitely benefit with having all staff provide top notch service, especially if they want to be rated a 5 star spa experience. Overall experience was good.

I have been coming here for years and never had a complaint. The service is ususally high- quality, and the massage therapists are typically respectful and attentive. This is not the experience I had earlier this week. I recieved a massage and noted the areas where I was having pain beforehand. A few hours later, I was experiencing the exact same pain... I called Holtz and asked if there was any type of compensation they would offer (perhaps another massage for the targeted area at a discounted rate) - but take note of the fact that they said "our services are not guaranteed". Therefore, you can come in for a massage, recieve no help/ a bad massage, then have to pay for it anyways. Ludicrous. Almost as bad as Koëna spa. Also, the receptionist with straight brown hair stared at me the whole time I was in the reception area. I had no interation with her, as her colleague checked me in and processed my bill- but that did not stop her from giving me a death stare for the duration of the time I was in her vicinity - until I looked back at her, and she got up and walked away. What's up with that? Consequently, that compounded my sentiment of feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I'm really not sure what I did to offend her- perhaps she has a disdain for individuals with complexions darker than a paper bag? Needless to say, Holtz Spa needs to get it together and bring their standard back up to where it was in 2022. Not sure what happened to them. Perhaps a mass turnover in staff? Not sure but I can only speculate. I wish that anyone else who frequents this location in 2024 has a better experience than I did. Perhaps I will try them again in a few months. Perhaps not.

My facial was amazing. Maryam stayed with me the whole time even while the masks were setting. She massaged my scalp or arms. I don't like when they put a product on and leave for 20 minutes. I can do that at home. This experience was pricey but a great treat.

Suki did an amazing job! I had the best experience with her. Highly recommend for anyone looking for manicure, pedicure and paraffin treatment ✨

It was my first time trying these and I find it difficult to have the same day off with my bf. I was not expecting they will have a vacant couple's massage therapy on the same day I have booked it. Although there were some misunderstandings with our booking, the staffs handled professionally. Very grateful for the amazing experience and hardwork of everyone. They keep it a relaxing and welcoming environment. Both me and my boyfriend enjoyed our experience with Holtz Spa. Definitely recommend this as a gift for someone you care about or for yourselves!

Amazing experience at Holtz - came across their spa online while researching facilities in the area. Caught our eye that they offered unique services and their packages are so well designed, offering so much! Booked the Bindi Bliss and was very happy with everything that was included. Wasn't entirely sure what I was expecting but the staff was so friendly and did everything possible to ensure we were comfortable. Apart from the racial motivated glares and disrespectful comments from other guests ( not in the spa's employee's control ) everything was great. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing day downtown Ottawa.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and treated ourselves to a deep tissue couples massage. Everything about the experience was smooth and flawless. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, the appointment was right on time and the massages done by Christine and Jessica were AMAZING! My husband and I walked out of there feeling great! I would recommend this spa and hope to come back next time were in Ottawa!

The staff made us feel extremely comfortable for our very first couples massage! They were very communicative during the entire process. We left the spa feeling relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely be back!

Had an absolutely awesome day at holtz spa today … massage, facial, manicure, pedicure,hair and makeup …. Great products but what really sets it apart are the amazing staff!We will definitely be going again . I highly recommend !

I had a problem with my dryer. I call saga appliances and make an appointment. Andrey came at the time and was so helpful!!! He ordered the part, which wasn't in our of Ontario, and after 6 days received the part and came to put it on. Very good service, quick, reliable and always with a smile. Thank you for your service.

This is the most amazing spa I have been to in a long time. Staff is very courteous and genuine. Me and my family go for the RMT message here and we all love it. They also have the option to use aroma therapy oils which is amazing. Makes you smell nice even after a shower.

I had a wonderful experience. 10/10. Jess from the salon did an up-do and it was awesome and Jolene did my make-up, which was perfection. Highly recommend. Will be back next time I'm in Ottawa for an event.

Stylist took the time and effort to accommodate my uncommon request. I would recommend Ms. Lu for her attention to detail, pleasantness and professionalism in delivering quality service in a timely manner. The other stylists/staff/receptionists were also very pleasant and accommodating; asking after my well-being, assisting in transitions between services, and offering and serving me refreshments. Massage therapist Bree was exceptional. Pedicurist Suki (l am not getting her name quite right, apologies) delivered the best pedicure I have EVER had. Facial was also great. The whole team was excellent and took very good care of me.

My husband was celebrating a birthday, so I treated him (and I by default) to a couples massage. We have been doing this annually since we moved to Ottawa 4 years ago, during different times of the year. This visit our massage therapists - Brianna and Sierra - were next level. They truly listened to what our concerns were and really focused on those areas during the extent of our massage. Leaving we felt taller and a little like Jell-O. The aesthetics of the spa are perfect for relaxing, from the quiet area: to the treatment rooms. Soft glowing lights from the fireplaces, subtle décor and soothing music. From reception to the spa entrance, washrooms and treatment rooms, it was clean. Another truly great experience, cannot wait until the next one.

I had to make a last minute booking for a group of 6 people and Holtz was able to accommodate us. Communication by email was quick and easy. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great selection of teas and coffees. Loved the use of the hot stones for massages during manicures and pedicures! Thank you Holtz Spa!
