Beautiful little French village! The only downside is because of its success, it’s full of tourists!! But it’s worth it! Also you can take the Path of Nietzsche and enjoy the landscapes! But be prepared, it’s not an easy path

They said take bus 23 to Eze, it might be a fun way to spend the day and you could even buy some unique gifts from the two old perfume factories . No one said that it is simply a piece of heaven with botanic gardens at the top of a mountain which is actually a medieval town and castle to begin with !! exclusive hotel, hidden coffees, breath taking view, a day !! This needs a weekend stay

Charming little village! Beautiful shops and views. You probably need just 2-3 hours there. Make sure to go to the top of the village and visit the botanical gardens for spectacular views. Also, wear comfortable shoes are the walk is steep and the cobblestones are uneven at times.

A historical village in the top of a mountain. Beautiful landscape and houses. There is a restaurant there as well as many touristic shops. Because of its small size, it feels like being overcrowded with tourists. The train station of Eze is approx. 2.4 km. away from the village, and the road to the village is through the mountain which requires 1 hour of hiking until you reach the historical village of Eze.

Highly reckoned you to visit this village if you are in French Riviera. The streets are cozy and European, surrounded by breathtaking views! Also there are some parfumerie stores around. You can take a lot of beautiful photos there :) Easy to go by car from Nice

It is an absolutely amazing and stunning little village. A must visit in my opinion. Just walk around the village, you can feel the history and glory. Recommend to visit the Jardin Exotique and Chateau Eza! Jardin provides aerial view of the area and many beautiful succulents! Chateau has amazing food and service as well as incredible view of mountains and ocean! You can depart from Nice by Uber, 30€ and 30min ride one way. Alternatively you can take train/bus, but takes a long time.

Beautiful mountain castle of Èze with an amazing botanical garden. Stunning view of the Côte d'Azur. Fun to explore and get lost in the castle. Every corner is scenic. Lots of boutiques, hotels and restaurants scattered through out the castle. You can park at the base of the mountain and take a bus to the lower part of the castle. The rest is uphill walking. Not accessible by wheelchair. Not easy with a stroller. The bus ticket was about 3 euros and the ticket for the botanical garden was about 20 euros.

Beautiful and captivating! I would recommend bringing good comfortable shoes (buy some in Italy, beautiful Neighbor) and ready for a hike! I will come back for a holiday!

It was an interesting castle. The shops were closed due to the public holiday. We had a private tour take us around. I recommend wearing comfortable footwear due to all the walking on cobblestone.

Very pleasing and beautiful village. Take some time and walk through the ways. We got only 30 mins to see the place which was not enough for us.

This is a nice village to stop by and see for half a day or so. Very picturesque with some small shops and places to eat. The views alone are worth the trip up. If you're up for a challenge, I recommend hiking up and down for the full experience.

A wonderfully charming Gaelic village on top of a mountain. Definitely worth visiting this place. A bit of climbing up steep and narrow streets awaits you, but the sight is unreal. The prices of food and visiting some sights in the village are quite high, but you won't have this experience in many places. In any case, the visit to the village is free, so the advice is to at least take a walk through its streets.

Favorite stop on my trip to the French Riviera. Beautiful old village with quaint restaurants and shops. Beautiful views around every corner. You can walk most of the village for free, if you want to go into the garden it costs money. Definitely recommend making the stop and walking these beautiful stone streets

When in Eze, whether exploring the village or passing through, don't miss the chance to pause and wander through the enchanting streets of the old town. The cobblestone paths wind through historic architecture, creating a captivating atmosphere that transports you back in time. Each corner reveals a story, and the scenic views from the elevated village offer a picturesque backdrop of the surrounding landscape. Embrace the timeless charm of Eze's old town, where every step unfolds a piece of its rich history and captivating allure.

This is a beautiful town and a must-see stop. We enjoyed spending just an hour but we could have spent longer - plenty of shops and quaint looking restaurants. I would plan on at least a drink if not a meal next time. We parked in the lot near the Tourist Info center and the perfume shop.

Very beautiful historical village, a short drive from Nice. While we were on a guided tour on our way to Monaco, our guide let us walk around and explore the church, cemetery, and shops on our own. Would most definitely recommend that you visit, the view and architecture are immaculate. Be mindful of stairs, basically cover the entire village.

Èze is a beautiful old village with shops and cafes throughout. Everywhere you turn is a more spectacular view than the next. The garden at the top was lovely. I would love to visit again or recommend to a friend. I recommend wearing good shoes that grip as the walkway can be slippery from the marble.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Highly recommended!!! Really, I don't have any words to explain. This medieval village is so amazing that you can miss this destination. Especially if you are in Nice or Monaco, this is just a 20-minute drive from each of them. You can even use public transport. One thing you needed to consider while using public transport is that if you want to go by train then you have to walk to the village around 2.3 km. I must say that tracking is not very easy, especially going up. But if you want to use a bus that stops just outside the village and then just follow the street to access this place. Eze Botanic Garden is highly recommended because it is situated right at the top of this village. You will not regret the ticket price, which is €7 for adults, €4 for students if they have ID and children under 5 is free. I would recommend going there by bus and coming back by train if you like tracking, otherwise, just use the bus or your car if you wanted to.

The charming medieval town of Eza is a must-visit for anyone seeking an enchanting experience. The narrow streets are adorned with delightful little shops, quaint restaurants, and the awe-inspiring view from the top is simply unforgettable. Every nook and cranny of the town exudes a unique charm, making it a photographer's paradise.

Truly beautiful. I have been here twice with my family and loved each visit. We never stop at the shops, but you don't need to in order to enjoy the visit. The sights from the exotic garden are enough. Hard to find anything quite like this elsewhere.

Absolutely beautiful. You can see it in 30 mins, or you can spend 3 times as much. It's also a nice place to stop and have something to eat or drink while enjoying the location. Lot's of small gift shops and galleries to find everywhere.

Remarkable and beautiful little mountaintop village right between Monaco and Nice. The garden admission I think is a must as it leads to a plateau with sweeping views of the entire area (we didn’t do it but could see the viewpoint from everywhere). The hike up aka Nietzsche Trail is basically a loose / dirt trail so make sure you are dressed appropriately.
