    Foreigners beware, this hospital is a complete scam. On March 5th my pregnant wife had a leg fracture at nearby shopping center. Unfortunately the ambulance dropped her at this hospital which is the start of a medical nightmare which almost led to a near-death experience a couple of days later. First of all they charged us 8000TL ($574) for what amounts to giving paracetamol and waiting on a gurney. Later on to be admitted to the hospital they made us pay 50’000TL ($3522.24) as a “deposit” for the surgery which never took place. She was admitted on Saturday and we were very worried about not having the leg surgery right away. They waited until Monday, claiming no doctors work on Sunday. Then Monday afternoon the doctor came to our room and said the surgery was moved to next day (we had ask the doctor some questions about monitoring the baby while the surgery was in place, and the doctor interpreted that question as cancelling the surgery). Meanwhile all of this happened she developed several life threatening blood clots in her lung and fractured leg. They did not do an ultrasound to ensure no blood clots were forming or any monitoring whatsoever. This occurred because she was not injected timely with heparin, a blood clot prevention medication. Had she been injected timely she would not have developed a pulmonary embolism a couple of days later. During the entire stay they only administered IV paracetamol (tylenol). It seems this hospital’s goal is to scam foreigners and try to keep them hospitalized for several days to bill as much as possible. At the end we spent $4096 (58’000 TL) for paracetamol, 4 nightmare days and my wife’s condition worsening due to massive medical negligence. The only thing they did was to badly place a cast on her leg after begging for days to be discharged from this nightmare hospital. If you are a foreigner avoid this hospital like the plague. Building: overcrowded, have to wait for elevators for 10mins+, food is prison-like having caused me an ulcer, staff is rude and when things get dicey they claim they don’t speak English. Update: if you see a positive 5-star review for this hospital check the actual review. Most are paid bots to inflate the positive reviews. 3-4 days ago the rating was 3.2-2.9 and now magically it is 3.9. I repeat if you are a foreigner avoid these scammers. All the positive reviews are from newly created fake profiles. Do not visit for this hospital!

    My complain about IVF section who works as a translator ( lady). I'm very disappointed from her behaviour. She works like doctors force her. She doesnt want to translate doesnt want to explain always busy with her mobile and makes gossip back of you with other nurses , about your age , your nationality and so on I made IVF another clinic also but I've never been upset like here ( sisli memorial). If some translators don't want to work get out from there please don't break patients mood.

    We live nearby so we used to go to Memorial often for our medical needs. They were good. Last month, my child was in pain so we went there. We had an x ray, a CT scan, and the doctor put on a cast. We were shocked the cost was more than EUR 2100. The doctor apparently performed “a procedure to reduce a bone fracture without cutting the skin”. But the treatment was not finished and he suggested a further surgery. We did not take, instead we went to complete the treatment in Acibadem Hospital. We decided we would not return to Memorial.

    State of the art Hospital, very clean and tidy. The Doctors and staff are spot on. Specially Nursing staff in ward on the 3rd floor is exceptional, during my 1 week stay they looked after me very well and I could feel that they were genuinely concerned about my wellbeing. I am very happy with the experience and would recomend this hospital.

    Be careful if you arrive at this hospital as a tourist; They will try to extract all the resources they can from your insurance, without ethics, without scruples and without supported medical justification; I am a Urological Surgeon and I had to argue with the medical staff to try to find an explanation for their tricks and negligence; I had to go to my consulate to have my mother discharged. The worst experience I have ever had in a hospital.

    I really wanted to write a positive review for this hospital but sadly they completed the experience by cheating us (in my opinion) out of the refund that we were owed. The good stuff - Hospital and facilities - it's new, clean and bright. I think other hospitals (worldwide) could take a page out of this hospitals book. Very good experience for patients and visitors alike. - Medical staff - very friendly, responsive and helpful; a little bit of a side note here though - as this is a private hospital and you pay for everything - I personally do think they let this cloud some of their decision-making - The food - wow! Out of this world. It's like staying in a hotel The bad stuff - The bill - if you are expecting a refund, be prepared to chase them constantly. When they say "it's been done" - unlikely. Also, don't except anything verbally, get it in writing - make sure you get any value they are promising you in writing. Ask for a proper receipt. Our experience - they inflated their prices, included procedures onto the invoice that our father didn't have. - Unnecessary procedures - recommendation, it might be worth understanding what a procedure entails. In summary: a positive experience that they soured because of their greed.

    We were blown away how messed up this hospital is. They called us and replied to our messages until they found out that we needed a small health related surgery, nothing major like liposuction, plastic surgery or something else that could bring them thousands of dollars. When they figured out that it will be a one visit procedure they stoped answering our phone calls and messages. This is so sad. The purpose of the hospitals/ doctors to help people who has health issues no matter how much money this will bring them. Shame! Çok ayıp!

    Gave obligatory covid test 48 hrs prior to flight; no social distancing at emergency reception, rude staff, bad management, no payment receipt no test tracking number, delayed test results and useless call center. We gave our passports at emergency reception for covid test, and we were asked to wait "a little bit". After waiting "a little bit"(around 2 hours), we realized that people who recently arrived are prioritized for "some" reasons. Immediately been tested after complaining about this. Then we were supposed to receive test results in 24 hours, but NO we could only get it just before heading to airport, stressing out what if the result was still not out. Call center is useless, asking for test tracking number which was not provided, and so on. Long story short, STAY AWAY!

    Very big hospital with multiple specialities and different kinds of special health care.. and parking areas... We visited the genetic department the Dr who was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the receptionist was the opposite .. they didn't provide me with a medical reports eventhough i called earlier to make sure that they do and the phone operator assure that...

    I called the call center and they responded poorly, also i made an appointment thro the website “easy appointment “ but they didn’t confirm nor decline my appointment so i had to call again to ask if i have an appointment or not!     Very nice and clean place. They are fast with their services but the only issue is that they don’t speak English. They have translators to help you but they might be busy. Depends on your lock. Another thing I don’t like is that they allow smocking in the terrace area. Isn’t it a hospital?

    No one can say that thay had “great” experiences when you talk about a hospital, but Memorial Istanbul was absolutelybthe best. We had our yearly check up and the experience was fantastic. Sevice outstanding and doctors were the best. Thanks to Fatmira and Dije we felt loke in a hotel not in a hospital. Will go back there every year for my routine check up and i would recommend it to anybodybto do the same

    Worst hospital ever! This is our 4th time at this hospital in a month, and their elevators always have problem. You need to wait minimum 10 minutes each time. They send a kemotherapy patient from a floor to another floor, there they say "go back to the other floor, they need to sign", go another floor again amd again... At the 5th stop when I shouted at last they have taken me to more 2 stops and able to give my blood. The nurse was the mpst teenager I've ever seen, couldn't take the blood very painfully, and ask for help from another nurse.

    I ve’been to many hospitals all around the world and have to say that, the best care I’ve received was at the Memorial Şişli hospital. I would especially like to thank their representative and translator Lela Yüksekkök who could not have been more helpful! Her care, attention and all round professionalism made the whole experience easier for me and gave me great confidence in the hospital.

    it is al good until they receive there money. it is impossible to get you're money back after it is paid double. they kept my 6 months baby downstairs because they could not wait half hour for the money. the hole mood of everybody is changing when they hear the insurance will pay the bil. after 2 months stil trying to contact them for my money to be refunded. if it is not urgent chose a different hospital..

    Disgusting treatment. we came for bbls I was placed in a room prior to being put to sleep were I could see clear as day someone else being preformed surgery on this made me so uneasy to be out to sleep. My friend and I were treats so disgusting my staff we couldn’t walk they would bring drinks and place it on the other side of room regardless of us using Google translate to say we can’t walk. The staff would say they would help us and then leave and not come back. I was left on the bed hooked up to the drip and the bed barricaded I asked to go toilet and it took me asking 3 times for them to actually help me so I could get up. Nurses whispered with judgment and laughed conversation with each other whilst we are crying in pain and asking for help

    Prof. Samra, Dr. Gönül and Dr. Yucel in the IVF department are among the smartest and most knowledgeable doctors in Turkey after many experiences in Turkey. Gentle treatment, full explanation of the condition and good medical examination. The translator, Nourhan, is very cooperative and respectful. The hospital is very clean and the nurses are good.

    One of the worst hospitals i've ever been to. My deal is to pay 5129$. I made a liposuction and beared transpiration process.Bilal the translater he texted me telling that you will stay 1 or 2 days in hospital before moving to the hotel and the doctore will decide. He didnt mentioned that 2nd day is chargable. The doctor decided to stay 2 days. Then while im moving they told me that you should pay 650$. I was so tired and my small sister was with me. I paid and i decided to leave Istanbul on the spot. I changed my tickets and moved on. Is this a professional way that should treated your clients? And Bilal is not responses to my messages.

    Me and my husband had ivf treatment in Memorial, we are very satisfied with the treatment and service here. Yalçın Emir Gençer, he is very efficient and responsible and very helpful, whatever you ask him, there is always a reply, you can count on him. It's a pleasure to work with him. The IVF doctor is very nice and patient, very knowledgeable. Our english translator is also very responsible and good. the enviroment is comfortable, clean, nice . i will recommend this hospital to my friends.

    We went 3 days before our flight to get a pcr test to avoid any delays , the results came 6 hours later through sms which is great BUTTTTTTTTT we called 7 times to receive the reports through email and none of the team could help or accommodate efficiently and we had to go in person to the hospital to be able to explain that we cannot travel without the report and all we needed is to be emailed to us for goodness sake! Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! We're about to miss our flight because of a bunch of lazy employees!

    240TL for PCR test took about 6hrs to get result, but did not receive SMS. You can get the result via the website with passport number but takes some perseverence. Look for E-result and then create a login. NOTE the test result must be in english. I got mine in turkish. If this happens phone them and get the english one emailed

    Having to go to the emergency room or the hospital in the foreign countries always very scary, but my experience at Memorial was very very good. I was attended to immediately they provided me with an interpreter the moment I walked in who stayed with me until I was taken to the examination room, the doctor was kind friendly and extremely knowledgeable and took care of my health issue immediately. There was almost no wait time from the time I walked in until I was in the examination room, and left with my health issue managed right away. My experience at Memorial Hospital was very positive.

    I really appreciate all the doctors, the nurse, laboratory technician, translator. The big problem was english language. For everything u need english translator is mandatory unless the Nurses not show u even the toilet. The price also little bit expensive I paid more than 1000usd for normal examination when I compared to other nation.

    I would like to thank the nurses, carers and doctors at the hospital, they gave me excellent care for my operation and recovery. I would especially like to thank Ebru, Mehirban, the Carer who took care of me and all the staff. We had a couple of issues during our stay which was mostly related to the food, it was a problem for me and also housekeeping unfortunately they only change bins and mop the floors, toilet papers, toiletries, towels are not changed or given unless you constantly call them. Apart from that they have really good medical staff. They also have translators to facilitate the language barrier unfortunately most staff don’t speak English. Room 1155. Venessa

    They call you to have an interview ( English french and Arabic interpreter) even the interviewer does not speak English, they say ok. Than their head office from üsküdar call you to have a video interview for an other position (sales person) , you are in and accepted, then you never hear from them. Non professional neither one foreign language knowing how did they get their positions in such big corporation.

    One of the worst hospitals i've ever been to. The nurses can literally leave you die there. I made a major surgery and kept waiting 40 minutes in bed for them to bring me a pain killer while i had severe pain. Never coming here again

    Memorial oncology is very caring, Dr. Serkan and his team are very good at their job. My nurses Nejla, MEryem, Zeynep, Altınay, Güldeniz and Merve approach everyone with empathy and a smile. Their benefits are more than the medicine. This team was chosen. Serkan's assistant, Drop and Nail, Dr. Bülent always help me. The cafeteria staff, Ms. Nejla, is very motherly and helpful. Even if I don't need anything, he opens the curtain and checks on me. I would like to thank the entire team for the many kindnesses and beauties that I have not written yet.

    We traveled to this hospital from Germany at the beginning of February for a check-up for my mother. I really have to say that everything was perfect from start to finish. Starting with making the appointment, the contact person answered all questions quickly and friendly. The payment was also very uncomplicated and you were contacted immediately when the payment was received. On the check-up day we were greeted very friendly by the staff. The nurses and ladies at reception always had a smile on their faces and were always helpful. Everything was very, very well organized and you didn't have to wait long to see the various doctors (cardiology, eyes, x-rays, etc.). We received the results on the same day. The clinic is also very clean and modern. We are very satisfied with the clinic and would like to take this opportunity to thank you again.

    She is the most professional doctor in her occupation. She helped me to overcome a fatal desease l experienced 10 years ago by starting a treatment. I am extremely grateful to her. I can recommend Mrs Füsün to everybody having breathing problems. We need doctors like her to be heathy

    I had been suffering from a very painful urological disorder for a year and a half. During this time, I went to many hospitals and doctors. Unfortunately, the correct diagnosis could not be made. I wasted time with wrong diagnoses and treatments. Finally, based on my research and extensive advice, I was transferred to Şişli Memorial Hospital by Prof. Dr. I went to my teacher Murat Binbay for an examination. My doctor Murat made the correct diagnosis during this examination and scheduled surgery for March 9, 2024. My surgery was very successful yesterday. I am very grateful to Murat teacher and his team. I offer my endless thanks. I would also like to thank Murat Hodja's secretary, Ms. Derya, and the staff of Block B, 6th floor, for their interest.

    It became my preferred hospital for nose surgery. Everyone was very caring and helpful, both before and after the surgery.
