This place was lovely - centrally located in the tourist hub in its own quiet little nook, a welcome respite from the bustle of the city. Small walks to all the big tourist sites, but far enough away that it's not too loud or chaotic. The hosts were welcoming and friendly - willing to go the extra mile to help out and answer questions from a non-Turkish speaking tourist. The rooms are small and the walls are thin, but it was quiet throughout the night and didn't cause any trouble. We had a private bathroom and shower and a small glimpse of the sea.

We stayed there for three nights in September 2023. It was a great experience, the room was clean and nice and the toilet too, it’s also near the heart of Istanbul and all the attractions are easy to reach by walking a few, also the public transportation is 10 min away. The owner and his family are great, very kind and generous people always very helpful, that make you feel like you’re at home. Thank you for everything.

Very nice staff. Clean room. Spacious room. I stayed with a baby and they did everything to make it comfortable. Next year i will be back for sure. And the price is really cheap for what they offer. Quiet street in a perfect location. Really nothing bad to say.

It was nice stay inTulip guest house. People here are so nice and they are friendly. The room is clean and safe. They provide nice breakfast in the good view of kitchen. You can see the sea from there. It was great that we came there and enjoyed the stay

Ahmet and his sister are so kind and helpful. We are enjoy stay here for 8 days. The room is clean and comfort. The location very near with many restaurants, blue mosque, Topkapi palace, and Ayasofya and the most important is near with public transportation. This place is very recommended.

Had a wonderful stay here with Ezin and family who run the guesthouse.It was clean,comfortable and in a great location for walking to major historic and interesting parts of Istanbul...also a place that really suits the solo traveller as always someone about to assist with information,transfers and a chat!

First, the professional staffs are so really approachable and kind. The rooms are clean, the bed is soft, the room is not that small you can still do your things, there's a nice sea view from the window, the terrace where you can have your breakfast while looking at the sea, calm and quiet place.

I stayed at the Tulip guest house this February, 2020 with my sister. This is hands down one of the best travel experience I have had in regards to lodging. Essin, her brother Ahmet & the entire family were extremely kind, welcoming & accommodating. The location is outstanding (walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia), the place is extremely clean & quaint with all the modern amenities. It was like being home away from home (I stayed there for 10 days).This is a better alternative to a hotel as you get to meet and mingle with the locals. I have now “my place” for my next trips to Istanbul, InshaAllah. It is also very safe if you are a woman travelling on your own. Thank you again and I hope to be back very soon InshaAllah. Leïla.

My wife and I stayed at the Tulip for 11 days on what was a mix of a work and leisure trip. The location is a small quaint boutique guesthouse with the two friendliest and kindest hosts I’ve ever stayed with. The location is excellent with the Hagia Sophia being a ten minute walk away. For any help in arranging taxis or information on tours and activities just contact Ahmed at the front desk. Have never known anyone to be more helpful. The family running the hotel gives a lot of importance to cleanliness which was a major concern for me before travelling to Istanbul. But I was more than satisfied with how diligently they cleaned and maintained the place. Hot water was always easily and readily available. Would fully recommend this hotel to all those wanting to visit Istanbul and getting a taste of the old city.
