Very beautiful 5 star hotel. Really clean and comfortable rooms and the hotel has a lot of security. Has great service and the staff is very friendly and helpful. And the prices are great. The food is amazing and the menu has a lot of options to select from. I recommend visiting this place if you came to Turkey just to relax.

Very helpful staff, great amenities and breakfast. Booked the executive King suite with lounge access, nice location and view from the room. Staff are always willing to help you, Gizem helped me with tour booking and another gentleman I forgot the name helped me schedule my PCR test for my return. Thank you very much for making my stay memorable.

Spent almost 2 years on and off here for work. This is a Marriott standard hotel, no surprise good or bad. Spacious comfy rooms, three good pools (2 outdoor, 1 indoor), an excellent gym. The nearest metro is 15 mins on foot that would bring you to the Kadikoy pier in less than 20 mins. A couple of fine restaurants nearby, try Sapa or Olivetto. Great team which make this place always feel almost like home.

The staff is wonderful, very well mannered and helpful! Good hotel for a stay with kids in Istanbul - has indoor/outdoor pools, baby pool, simple playroom, a stroller available to borrow (which is great for a sightseeing day with 2-3 year old). Excellent food at executive lounge in the evenings 17.30-19.30 with complementary beer&wine 17.30-21.30.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend it for any type of travelers. I like it though because they have a free private parking. Their food room service is very nice. However, they convert the euros into liras with very high exchange not similar or closer to the market so I recommend to pay in euros directly.

In the world of the 5 stars hotel domain, very little separates the best from the rest and that is the level of the service offering, staff, professionalism and overall customer experience. This hotel and the staff are phenomenal. Really professional, supportive, knowledgeable and friendly. This is my second month of stay and I couldn’t have asked for more and I feel right at home. Special shout out to Miss Ozge from the front desk who is one of the best in class and really knowledgeable about everything in Istanbul.

This hotel stands with the best for standards of service, cleanliness and professionalism. Check in process was quick, rooms are specious and well equipped with all amenities you'd expect from a 5 stars hotel, including a fridge/mini bar, coffe and tea, many drawers and cabinets. An iron with iron board, A proper desk, a safe, and a very luxurious bathroom. The air-conditioning is very good, much needed in Istanbul summer heat. The lights in the rooms are outstanding, you can choose from a dimmed lights all the way to very bright lights. In short: everything you need and much more. The staff are very polite and helpful! Exceptionally so. The lobby is very specious complete with a proper bar, and comfortable chairs and sofas. The gym is amazing, no less, well equipped. There are outdoor and indoor (on the 3rd floor!) swimming pools... both are very good. Also there is a sauna and massage rooms (I didn't try them..). Breakfast is very good and versatile, and the hotel restaurant is serving lunch and dinner (did not try). Also the room service has a rich all-day menu, and you can order by phone or online. Around the hotel there are restaurants and shops, all on walking distance. We will definitely come back!

First I want to thank Gizem for customer relations as if it wasn’t for her I would have left the hotel or escalated things further. She did her best to ease my stay and was very friendly. It was a shocking experience that the hotel is actually a Marriott hotel. The staff command in English was quite poor, surprisingly that includes the reception staff!! Very often as well what you ask for you don’t get, or it’s misunderstood. Like getting food without cutlers, or asking for breakfast to the room and you get ice instead. It was near impossible to communicate anything. In addition, the hotel walls are too thin, and they installed noisy drawers and wardrobes, so if your next door guest decides for some reason at 3 am to open any, and wasn’t extra considerate, you will wake up as it echos even more. That said, there was some positive things at the hotel (thus the two stars instead of one): - the hotel is overall clean - the restaurant food was good - the staff actually tried to do their best, they are just very under qualified. - the bed is comfortable. Overall for a 5 star hotel it’s a shocking experience, yet again if you want something in Asian side of Istanbul (which I wanted) probably that will still be the best! Probably not the worst Marriott, but worst hotel I ever stayed in when it comes to staff professionalism and fit to the job (except for Gizem)

We stayed here in July 2022 I booked three rooms for my family and two other families, we had a great time and the service was excellent. Rooms were big and the accommodated all 3 families by adding an extra single bed to each room. The executive club was advantageous to us as they have an amazing breakfast and good dinner Buffet with free drinks.

I was satisfied with almost everything in the hotel, from the moment I stepped in until I left. Room was clean and well equipped, parking was not an issue. All staff were extremely helpful. On every aspect, I would rate the hotel as 10/10.

I don’t stay on the Asian side of Istanbul very often, but for what it’s worth after my stay at Istanbul Marriott Asia I can say that this hotel and the other Marriott Bonvoy option on that side of the city (Sheraton Grand Atasehir) are superior to comparable brands on the European side and also benefit from a location discount as well. For people with business to do in that part of the city I can highly recommend Marriott. I booked the entry level room and was proactively upgraded as Ambassador Elite to an executive suite upon arrival. The suite was of fairly good size 77 square meters and had very nicely done living room and bedroom. The bathroom was not bad but the shower was a bit brittle; in addition I suspect no guest had stayed in that room for quite a while because when we arrived the tap water was orange in the sink and in the bathtub so it was a rare hardware blemish I could observe. The bathroom toiletries were some unknown local brand but that is also the case at Marriott Sisli. There was no breakfast in the club lounge, instead breakfast was in the restaurant only. However they offered that if we wanted breakfast in the lounge, we could tell them in advance at what time and they would accommodate us for a fully private breakfast – what a great service! The buffet in the restaurant was fairly standard for Turkish hotels and did not stand out positively or negatively. For happy hour, on some evenings we were all alone so having a mini-buffet seemed to be overkill, in fact at Sheraton Grand Atasehir instead they provide an a la carte menu. The buffet at Marriott had 4 hot choices on a daily rotation and plenty of cold appetizers and desserts. For our baby girl we asked if we could have mashed veggies and they were kind enough to make a special request to the chef who brought mashed broccoli and potatoes to make sure that all guests would have their needs met, even the smallest ones! By now I have stayed at all full-service Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Istanbul, I am only missing Courtyard and Residence Inn. Based on my experience Marriott Asia compares favorably to others especially if considering the price tag, but location will only work for some travelers. For the Asian side specifically and if staying within Marriott Bonvoy, I preferred the convenience of 1.5 bath in the suite at Sheraton Grand Atasehir rather than only one at Marriott, but Sheraton had too much carpet so there is a compromise to make.

Stayed at this property for couple of nights. Usual Marriot - Neat and clean property, with excellent service. Check-in, restaurant service, lounge all on the mark. loved the stay. I gave 4 star for location since it is a bit far away from the attractions. I obviously knew about this, and still booked the property, since I wanted to take a break and not be a busy tourist.

We booked this hotel for 10 days as we had surgery so needed time for recovery and close to our doctor. The room was executive suite and we were quite excited to spend our time here. But to our expectations everything was average the room the bathroom was old and water noises were coming all the time, taps are loose. Plus there is such a small section for breakfast as compared to other hotels(not many options) Wont even get water like who drinks 2 (500ml) bottles a day. There was renovation going on exactly above us and the noise of beating, moving was coming all the time we had to let them know that please stop at night atleast (9pm -10pm)and they were like shouldnt you hear the noises as its above you. We gonna move out two nights prior as we already paid in full. Advise - not to book this long period without staying

I was first not sure to book in Marriott Asia due to its located in Asian side not on European side, but the welcoming behaviors of all the staffs and hospitality makes me more comfortable and there I found several ways to go European side by Bus, metro, ferries and Taxis if you don’t have your car. Overall it was best experience for my 1 week stay at the hotel.

This place is close to metro station and easy access to main city. Rooms are large, nice interiors, luxurious. Executive lounge has good selection of wines, food and has a great top floor view. Breakfast had a good continental, Asian spread. Turkish tea was great.

Comfortable hotel with beautiful rooms. The location is quite remote from most walkable/enjoyable places of the city - even from the ones of the Asian side. Comfortable « business » property.

  • 5/5 kritti1 1 year ago on Google
Very attentive, kind and professional Service, rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Executive Lounge makes sense if you are in the hotel during the evening, as food and drinks are free and prices of restaurant and bar are excessive.

Outstanding services from this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff (thanks Hasan), nice view from our room, breakfast also good, comfortable and comprehensive, clean and huge room (they don’t have the amenities like toothpaste and toothbrush so bring your own). Parking car available at the property.

My 19 year old son and I stayed at Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia last week. I would like to thank Dilan Hanim, Inanc Bey and Hasan Bey at the Executive Lounge for their hospitality. They made our stay unforgettable. I would like to give some feedback about what I liked the most about my stay. The self-parking for hotel guests is free and there is an underground garage for self parking. The rooms are very well maintained and spotless. The beds are very comfortable. The elevators are fast. I didn't have a chance to use the outdoor pool but I could see from my room that it has a very big sun-deck and the pool is very big. I used to be member for their gym when I used to live in Istanbul, and they also have a indoor pool and spa, this time I didn't have time to use them. I will definitely take advantage of them if I have a longer stay, which I am planning on after my experience at this hotel. This hotel has a great location on Asian side of Istanbul and just behind a very nice shopping mall, with lot's of restaurants. There is also a metro station and I think they provide shuttle, I rented a car so I didn't take the shuttle. The lobby area is very spacious. I have stayed at couple of Marriott branded hotels in Istanbul, by far this is one of the best that I have stayed in. Their Executive Lounge happy hour is like a real dinner buffet, and the food that was served all fresh and authentic. Also the wine selection they had in the lounge were great. I also had a chance to enjoy their breakfast buffet. The breakfast had all the elements of a Traditional Turkish breakfast including fresh Simits. The service both in Executive lounge and the breakfast area was excellent. Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia, will be my number choice to stay on the Asian side of Istanbul next time. I would like to thank everyone working there for their efforts in serving the customers.

Phenomenal service! Beautiful breakfast, great staff! Highly recommend! Koray was very helpful during our buffet breakfasts. The rooms are very clean. There is a full gym and spa. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Istanbul, this is the place to be!

We stayed for three nights and overall experience was good at the hotel. They have a good breakfast buffet and the hotel staff are quite helpful and friendly. The only challenge we faced is the hotel location, all the touristy places in Istanbul is quite far from the hotel. Though, there is a Metro station close by but couple train change are required to reach central town.

This is my second time staying here— both times for 7 days each. The hotel is not categorically a 5 star hotel (just fyi) but it is really nice nonetheless. There is a newer mall directly across the street. It is the back of the mall, so you only see a warehouse type structure, but you can cross the road and enter from the back entrance. There aren’t many brand name stores, only HM, Nine West and then some fast food chains. But the other stores are decent and plentiful food choices too. Nice place to stroll. It’s called City Mall I think. Back to hotel: The restaurant, bar and breakfast choices are great, good cost as well. Very nice waitstaff who speak well enough English if you need that. The rooms are spacious, clean. Great room service, housekeeping, front desk team. Attentive managers. Great doormen. Any issues I had, they were resolved right away. Great lobby/ lounge area. Readily available taxis just outside the entrance, in the morning. ATM may or may not function. Two issues I have: (1) The housekeeper guy kept coming into the room with a “half” knock. He didn’t wait for a response and it happened more than once. So I just started latching and locking the door. (2) At the spa, the spa personnel don’t wear masks. So while I was completely exposed getting a treatment, my massage therapist wasn’t only coughing, but SNEEZING. No mask. I was immediately uncomfortable and felt her illness (probably cold or flu) passing on to me eminently. When I was finished And she left the room, I heard her hock and spit. So she’s got it bad! Sure enough, I wake up the next morning with a cough and scratch in my throat. ***I should have had on a mask. But in a spa, how much would that help? Overall, I would and plan on staying again and would recommend to a friend— keeping my safety precautions in mind.

Shortage of staff causing delays in service, around 40 minutes for a toast and coffee and 20 minutes for a baby chair. The children play area is dirty. There are no bathrobes in the rooms. I called and asked for one but with no luck. The building is OK but the experience and quality of service are all poor. Waitresses are helpful but they are always in rush as they can’t cope with the demand (although the hotel is not crowded) due to the shortages of waitresses working. Reception’s only concern is upselling, it takes 20 minutes for us to check-in, 5 minutes of which is hard sell to upgrade. The music from the wedding is disturbing. Breakfast is overpriced for the quality and range of the food available. Only one valet working, you need to wait him to come downstairs if you need get something from your car as it seems he also works as a bellboy. The manager may think sending chocolates to rooms would suffice but I advise him to walk around and observe what is not working and play the role of a manager and focus on operation.

This hotel is a shame for the Marriott brand! No management which can be easily seen by the careless and arrogant attitude of the untrained staff! I have never experienced such an unpleasant stay in my entire life. Starting with the breakfast where almost none of the staff speak English…ordered a simple omelet I have waited 15 minutes and asked for the waitress where is my omelet then another 3 minutes passed by she brought me an omelet, put it down on the table and after 10 second she picked it up and said “ sorry its not yours”…I thought I am part of a set up prank…unfortunately it was the reality as I have experienced similar “glitches” every breakfast during my stay. The so called “Executive lounge” is a simple joke and a real scamming exercise by this hotel! Nobody was in the lounge during the day and even, so they served limited dinner the coffee machine was broken during my entire stay (5 days). I have reported a dripping showerhead after my first night and 3x more and only after the 4. day they fixed it! The front-office manager confirmed me I am not the only one who complained but seems like nobody care! The “top of the cake” and the last drop was the arrogant and ignorant attitude of Mr. Sertac Kocatürk …he could not care less… nor ignore more any guest… I would never ever return to this hotel and it’s a real shame for Marriott to give its brand name for such an uncaring service…

No Management, nobody cares, just a hotel to rake in the money. My Suite has not a single flower or Plant. The Executive Club does not serve breakfast or anything else until 17.30 pm, shame they forgot to tell the customer who pays for the privilege. My shower head remained leaking for 3 days, I gave up complaining eventually. Not a single notepaper in the suite, but open magazines in the Lobby, so much for "the Covid Excuse"! Sertac Kocaturk at the front office turns out to be the most rudest, impolite, ignorant employee. His arrogant cannot be matched. Best to send him to the Kitchen, he cannot do any guest damages there.

I had a pleasant stay with my husband and children. The staff are warm and professional. Our room was comfortable and spacious and was cleaned very well everyday. The gym, pool and spa are fantastic and I would definitely recommend this hotel. My only criticisms would be that the view from our room was not great and no bathrobes are provided.
