    This bistro is the very essence of France. Set near a river and nestled amongst great Champagne houses. Helpful friendly patron.

    Super tasty and generous portions, very friendly staff. We had roasted chicken with potatoes and salad, it was delicious! We then enjoyed a walk by the canal close by.

    Lovely laid back lunch in a pleasant setting during a hot summers day. Decent prices and good service. Definitely recommended.

    We were seated, asked for our water orders and then left for 30 minutes only when we asked if we could order did they inform us we were too early and that the kitchen is not open for another 30minutes. Such a waste of time - they could have told us that before we paid for two bottles of water

    A great local bistro with good food and quick, friendly service. What's not to like? Also, they're open Mondays when most places are not.

    What a gem !!! Fabulous home cooked food. The best local champagne and wonderful, friendly service. They welcomed our rather large Borzoi Russian Wolfhound right into the restaurant. We stayed in Mareuil sur-ay two nights and were very happy to have all our meals in this delightful restaurant !!!
