My family and I stumbled upon Oriental Village when our typical go-to Chinese restaurant was closed and let me say, I am very thankful we did! The food was delivered by a very friendly young man and arrived very hot. We were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and the value of the food. Our surprise only grew when we took our first bites and were blown away by the freshness and flavour. The sweet and sour boneless pork was hands down the best I've ever had, the beef chow fan (rice noodles) were so flavourful, the beef in the beef and broccoli was super tender and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. The chicken balls were not at all greasy as you often find, and the sweet and sour sauce wasn't too sweet, allowing the sourness to come through and accent the dishes. The egg foo yong was so juicy and full of vegetables. Lastly the beef and tomato fried rice was everything it should be. A huge thank you to the entire staff at Oriental Village for providing us with what I could confidently say is the best Chinese food I've had in Abbotsford. We will DEFINITELY be back!

The Best Chinese Restaurant I have had in Canada. The first time we dined here we fell in love with their lemon chicken, the batter was so light and not doughy in the inside. The outer is crispy and the chicken was well seasoned and did not feel greasy at all. The beef with oyster sauce and pork bbq chow mein is also highly recommended. We also tried their mushroom fried rice and it did not disappoint as well. Just a heads up though they are only open for dinner service. The staff are efficient and the atmosphere is very friendly and not intimidating. We enjoy this little restaurant a lot that we kept coming back for more. Price is worth it and serving portions are great! Try them and be ready to get amazed by some real good Chinese food!

Excellent family style Chinese restaurant. Best egg rolls in town. The spices are unique and pleasant but not overpowering. Huge portions, very flavourful noodles and rice. The sweet and sour is balanced not cloyingly sweet. Come in person 4-8 pm for wonderful and friendly service or call in for pick up or delivery. Skip the app and support local business. Great place.

Was pleasantly surprised with their food. Loved the ginger beef, Shanghai noodles and the mapo tofu. Service was a bit slow as their take out was busy but overall, good experience. Will definitely go back.

Highly recommend. We typically order from Bamboo Palace or Jasmine Garden... both were closed for holidays... glad they were. Have always wanted to try Oriental Village. Fantastic food, carefully prepared, large portions. Best Chinese food we've had in a very long time. Friendly delivery driver. Defintely our new go-to. Thank you!

I had the beef with ginger and green onion hot pot. It was delicious. I ordered for pick up and the lady that greeted me was very pleasant and friendly. Again the hot pot was delicious.

I have to say without a doubt that Oriental Village is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Abbotsford to date. It's a nice little restaurant, with very friendly staff that quickly made us feel welcome and had us seated and ready to take our orders in a short time. We have been here twice so far and thus far have been extremely happy with our menu choices. Often, when I order from other Chinese food places, I find something on the menu that falls short of my expectations. This was NOT the case here! So far, every dish we have ordered from the menu has exceeded my expectations and experiences at other restaurants. I highly recommend the lemon chicken dish here. It's absolutely fantastic, as is the BBQ pork chowmein, mushroom fried rice, and beef with oyster sauce. The servings here taste fresh and come out to your table hot, not lukewarm, the portions, in my opinion, are very well sized for the price. Two people can just order two dishes to share and easily leave full of delicious food and well satisfied. I have no problems leaving the Oriental Village a 5 star review, we will be back often, and if you haven't been I highly suggest giving them a visit I don't believe you'd be disappointed.

We ordered take out from here tonight for the first time and safe to say we’re not ordering again. We had a few combos and the prawns in one of the combos weren’t deveined so they were gritty. Pretty gross. The rest was bland and mushy.

Oriental Village never lets us down! Food is fresh, hot, reasonably priced and the delivery driver is very friendly. The food usually comes sooner than they say it will so I never have to call to find out when it will arrive.

I normally order from Bamboo Palace but they were closed for holidays. So we ordered from the Oriental Village, the food was amazing. It wasn't greasy or over cooked. We will be ordering again from them

(TL;DR 3 stars due to concerns raised and being confronted when bringing those concerns to staff. Avoid the shrimp dishes for a bit.) Normally our go-to place. The last time we ordered, the shrimp dish was over cooked and had a really bad aftertaste. The after taste wasn't spices as we normally love this meal - but something definitely wasn't right. A staff member argued with us that the dish was just "not our taste" and we should try other things. But, we have had this dish before from them and enjoyed it. Something was definitely "off" with the shrimp and the casual dismissal of my concerns was off putting as, you know, bad seafood is a worry. I would definitely recommend their food. However, I would avoid their shrimp/seafood dishes for a while.

The food is good but we were made to wait over 45 minutes over the specified wait time for pick up. I understand that delays happen but I would like to be warned as such so I can make a allowances and order somewhere else.

They split my 3 item combination plate into 3 by putting the items on 3 small plates so the items would be kept separate which is a much better way to eat it.

We have ordered food from this place before and got decent food....but today our whole order sucked. Every thing tasted like it was overcooked....or cooked yesterday. Delivery driver was okay but the food SUCKED!!

We ordered BBQ pork fried rice - the added veggies were just from a bag of frozen vegetables, complete with Lima beans and corn, which my husband is allergic to. The beef and broccoli dish had carrots added to it ..in my mind the only ingredients should only be beef and broccoli, and the beef was grisly. The almond chicken was the only good part of the meal.

Order three different vegetarian items. Mushroom chop suey broccoli with garlic sauce and spicy tofu. 2 look the same n tastes the same and 1's got meat. Guess I'll be getting my semi raw broccoli fill for the year.

I want to retract my review the other day, in case anyone read it. Please note that since Saturday, I have enjoyed the food. I did buy too much because the servings are huge. But the chicken Chow Mein had chicken. Just had to dig through that big serving because the chicken was loaded on the bottom. The ginger beef actually tastes better each day. The flavours are mingling together and it's great. The rice was fried and maybe they could just use the usual veggies in fried rice. Over all, good food. I change my review to state I would go back again. Good hot food. Worth trying for sure

Been there with a group of 4 families. Met Daniel and his crew. We were treated professionally and had a nice time.. Food was delicious and great.

Food was not tasty. I had to add soy sauce to everything to get any flavor. The deep fried dishes were saturated with oil telling me it was either old oil or not cooked hot enough.

Excellent food, all the 4 items were good, and the quantities were substantial. The service was fast and very polite. Loved the experience.

October 10th, 2021, Ordered from OV for my wife's birthday, we are so glad we did. David is very nice to deal with and the food quality is top notch. Everything was well thought out and you can tell they cook with a lot of love and pride. The packaging for take out was perfect nothing leaking and everything cared for so when we arrived home the food was still hot and there were no issues. Peking duck is quality and the accompanying garnishes were fresh and tasty. Nov 7th, 2021 we ordered again and once again top notch consistent quality and service, Our go to place here on out. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Thank you Oriental Village.

This was the first time we ordered from Oriental Village on Gladwin. We were very impressed with the food quality. Tasted awesome. Lots of food. Order was ready right on time. Staff very friendly. The only regret I have is that I didn’t give as much of a tip as I wish I had. There is always next time!!

Our first times ordering from here, we got a family dinner for 3, food came hot and fresh, price was very reasonable and we would definitely order again. Our only complaint would be the beef chop suey had very little beef in it and a ton of onions and carrots so the ratio could be a little better but otherwise enjoyable food.

Had dinner with my husband and our friend visiting from out of town (who had been here before & recommended this place). With our friend being vegetarian, we ordered: the vegetable fried rice, Cantonese crispy noodles (but with just vegetables), and veggie egg foo yung. The waiter accomodated our changes and also precautioned us that the noodles & egg dishes would take more cooking time than the rice which was fine with us. As the food came out, they were hot. We all commented how was perfectly flavourful the food was and not greasy at all, like many other places. One thing we did find weird was the cinematic-esque videos showing people preparing *interesting* cuts of meat, which made the atmosphere a bit unappetizing. But overall, we would come back for the food again.
