So me and my cousins were looking for a place to get nice late dinner on a Sunday night after the rains. Called many restaurants and they had closed but Metro Cafe came to the rescue! The ambience was lovely and the meals were top notch. I had this huge jug of Chapman, stir fry chicken with jollof rice. It's a nice place especially for large groups, reasonable pricing..😉 Went back again after more than 4 years and they have managed to maintain their standard while still keeping meals at reasonable price. Had shrimp scampi and rice this time while my friend had a platter.

I visited this place with my family for Sunday Lunch and we really enjoyed our time here. The food was tasty, spicy and paired well with our cocktails. The cafe is quite modern and one of its seating areas features a looking glass which allows you to watch while your food is being made by the chefs. It is noteworthy that during lunchtime, this place gets quite full and noisy.

Great Singaporean fried rice, nice ambience. Had a lovely meal here with little or no crowd at lunchtime. Butterfly prawns 🍤 which was also lovely, although they could be more generous with their food and plantain portions. Didn’t really enjoy the drink, it was rather just colorful. Customer service was quite poor had to drop a star because if that. The waiter didn’t even write down the order had to constantly remind him. Not welcoming enough, could do better.

I am not sure I've had a bad experience going to Metro Cafe. One of those spots that you can chill, eat and even work if you absolutely need to. Superb taste of meals, fast service and neat environment. Taste the Chicken wings!!! When I have two consecutive bad experiences, I will come to update this. Until then, this is a place to visit

Service is amazing and their food is topnotch. I enjoyed every bit of my date. It is also serene. I'm back after a year and their service is still topnotch, though there has been a slight change in their prices. I love their jollof rice. It's my favorite meal there. I also love their tiger prawns and House special. I wouldn't advice you order their ginger and pineapple 🍍 drink, if you do not like ginger. You almost would not get the taste of the pineapple, as the ginger is way too much and drink is watery. Their staff are very courteous, professional and friendly. They deserve extra bonuses too.

Metrocafe has a really nice ambiance. It’s large glass windows make it bright with natural light during the day and it’s warm lights make it a nice sight in the evening. The food was tasty and the fresh orange juice was so good that I ordered two glasses. I didn’t really like the grilled chicken though. It was dry, not juicy the way I like it. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back at Metrocafe during my next visit to Abuja.

Metro Cafe is a place I can go to almost every day. Lol at a time, I was always coming here at least twice a week for lunch during my lunch break at work. The menu offers a wide variety of food and drinks. The food is so good. Great ambiance, very professional, the prices are reasonable. The attendants are very friendly and attentive. Oh! And my favorite meal to order is their chicken wings. My God! 😩😩 I can finish 12 or more in a sitting😋😋 I recommend

This is a very busy (crowded ) place especially in the afternoon. At a point I wondered if there was a party going on inside. I ordered for honey glazed wings and I got wings literally soaked in honey (terrible basically), and the wings were so dry and I didn’t feel fresh. The mock tail I had (Cinderella) wasn’t giving🥲 I have to give it to them for the meal portions, the pasta I ordered was a lot and I had to take out. Ambience is pretty chilled, lots of seats (single or groups.) The waiters were jovial and nice 👍🏾. The meal came in good time (have to give them that too.)

Metro Cafe is a great hangout spot with very competitive price and a great ambience. Courteous staff located in a secure environment. I like the fact that I don't get to wait for up to 30 minutes when I make orders and they have a wide range of appetizers, desserts and main dishes to choose from.

Update: Metro Cafe is in need of a renovation, the interior and exterior are aged. And please buy a new hand wash it cost less than 2k naira and stop putting water inside the empty container. The food is still really good. Consistency = Metro Cafe I’ve been going to metro cafe for the past 3 years and the food is always amazing

Their service is so poor, the food takes forever to come, you have to beg for water and when you get the water, it’s comes without a glass. My food was served on the table without a dish or tray I had to ask for it... Ordered a Caesar salad and what we got was completely different from the standard of what it should be. The food took over an 1hour to get here and the order was incomplete. The POS TOOK FOREVER TO COME ALSO. And we had to wait for minutes before we could pay.

Cool location. You can have your birthdays and small celebrations here. They have very nice fries and fish. Parking is a problem here. You can be in the middle of a meal and be called to re-park your car - how inconveniencing. Wheelchair accessible.

I attended a small birthday party there. I would have to say that the food and service were great. The waiters were very nice and courteous. We all ordered different meals off the menu and they arrived on time. The portions were so large, we all had to ask to have the leftovers to go which they gladly obliged. I definitely will be going back.

I so much enjoyed my meal… I had their Singapore fried rice with peppered gizzard and Caesar salad. Oh and their vanilla milkshake is lightweight and really tasty. Atmosphere was cozy, moderate music and moderate lighting. Oh went to Metro again but this time I didn’t order food, I tried their spicy chicken winds and my gosh I loved it 😊. Then I ordered their chicken burger and I really enjoyed it cause it was just as creamy as I love my burger 😋

Very nice place for family and friends togetherness dine, plus you can buy and take away. We went on a Saturday thus it was a bit crowded but we were able to get a quite spot. The waiters weren’t prompt, the drinks came fast and the meals a bit delayed. The waiter played a fast one..after bringing the bill and debiting the card she said she forgot to add all the take away plates cost and demanded for more money which we paid N1000 cash but requested she bring the bill she left and didn’t return. I guess it’s their cheat on the company trick.. watch out!

Their rice dishes are lovely, same with the soups. You can get vegetarian versions of some dishes if you tell your waiter - and he conveys such to the chef - which is a nice option. They never have the tofu dish though; not sure why it's still on the menu... There's also a bit of a wait to be served, but when the meal/drink does arrive, it's well made.

Food is pretty good, location and ambience is nice, a tad pricey for everyday food but nothing to break the bank. At full capacity, parking can be nauseating but the security guys do their best to get you a spot and secure your vehicle

I tried to order on Sallah morning, and a super-rude lady was on the phone. After I swallowed all the rubbish she dished me, I still called back to check on the status of my order and nobody was picking. It's a lovely restaurant, with great food, but my experience ordering on phone is just terrible.

A chill spot (extreme corner of the crescent). Located in a serene environment. Cool hangout and seat arrangements. Sports watching. Easy car parking. Expensive grills (barbecue & others). Notable drinks. Good service. Humble attendants.

A nice and cosy place in Wuse 2. The clientele is varied as is the cuisine which boasts of a variety of sea foods and grilled meat. The biggest drawback however is the fact that no Nigeria foods are on offer except for rice. No semolina, pounded yam or vegetable soups. The second glaring issue is the very expensive bills. it's almost like charges include the air that you breathe while there. Baring the above shortcomings, however, the meals are tasty.

The chapman and pineapple juice taste really delicious. The seafood pasta was fanatabolous. The environment is nice and cozy. However, as an advice to the managers, if there's a customer who shouts when discussing with his friends, please advise him to tune his voice down. The ambience was quiet when I visited last time and it wasn't anywhere crowded. The food is as great as always. My wife's favourite Singapore noodles and I had the stir fried rice and a cup of oreos milkshake since the initial cocktail I asked for wasn't available. My only concern was with the take out, the quantity in the takeaway wasn't the same of what was left of my stir fried rice. Metrocafe & Grill Wuse 2 is a beautiful place with nice ambience at the heart of Abuja city. The stewards were hospitable and they had nice foods, drinks and fruit juice all affordable. Unfortunately it escaped my mind to take a picture of the entrance/front view. 😁

A very lovely place to have dinner with family. Good food and a very warm ambiance and friendly staffers. I sat with my date at the left wing of the restaurant and in the course of the evening, we nearly got choked by the kitchen. I don’t know what they were preparing for a customer, but it littered the air with a choking smell and couldn’t enjoy the food and the rest of the evening without coughing out loud. This kind of thing should not happen at a restaurant like this. Anyways, that spoilt my evening for me. If you want to enjoy your time out there, kindly sit outside or use the right wing. The toilet/rest room is combined, but very decent. Pt 2: okay, I visited Metro Cafe the second time and I it was more pleasant than the former. Food was good. I loved the mojito as well... probably the best I've had in Abuja, no lemon seed getting stuck in your straw while sipping. Service is just there considering we had to keep looking around to catch the attention of our waitress.

Metro cafe & grill is located at Wuse 2, very easy to access, we stayed indoors, it’s a good place for date night with friends or partner, you can also celebrate your birthday there, the indoor lounge wasn’t that bright, you might have to tell a waiter to turn on the lights before you get a clear picture, the meals were tasty, but the staff were not polite especially towards the light complains, but the toilet had a mirror And we took lots of pictures

The place has outdoor sitting and has a lovely ambience. It also has a bar which has it's own sitting area.

I had not been to Mestrocafe & Grill for awhile. So I was impressed by their food on my recent visit. We had our sister's birthday celebration, group party of about 30 people. Their food was really nice, we had their rice, shredded beef stew, shredded chicken, their salads was amazing and the roasted chicken was well marinate, tender and moist. However, I will not recommend their spring roll, chicken was used as the filling. I did not like it, but my sisters did. The downside was that we only have one server and their music playlist need improvement.
