Standards have got worse yet again Decided to give the place another try and the food is inedible yet again. The fish is heavy with batter and smells like it's off. The chips are basic frozen ones and the curry sauce didn't fare much better Back to lin spot in future just over 7 pounds on a meal for it to end up in a bin 2 years in-between visits but it's the last straw I definitely won't return

Really really nice to be honest. I read the other reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Fresh munchy box. With delivery 20pound 2 miles away -Crispy chicken ball pieces -Chicken pieces -Chicken wings - x2 cans of pop -Nice and hot crunchy salt and pepper chips. - chow mein noodles - egg fried rice Only think I would say though... Instead of doing a large curry sauce Do a medium curry sauce + medium sweet nd sour sauce 'just' for variety Apart from that fab 👌. But that's just my preference some might not like sweet and sour Well worth the money 12" munch box 20 pound with delivery 👌 Feed 2 maybe 3 depending on who's eating. 🙂

fist thing to greet you when you enter the star east is a fish tank on the counter, rectangular in shape with several large fish fighting for space in a cramped murky water enviroment. Am afraid things dont get much better chips are rock hard the beef is like chewing rubber and to cap it off its now its only been awarded 2 stars on the latest hygiene scores. It used be really good here not anymore either buck up or shut up for good!!

I have only eaten here once because we have just moved to the area but will certainly be back. If the food stays this good I will change to 5 stars. Salt and pepper sui Mai dumplings, my new favorite.

Had Singapore chow mein on Saturday, I didn't have much hope but how wrong was I? It was the best I've ever eaten. I will be using them again. Brilliant! Update:- Been here a few more times and it's hit and miss. This time I had salt and pepper wings and they were shocking. Downgrade from 5* to 3*

Got some chips looked like the have been re cooked quite a few times very greasey and over price for what you get ..don't think I will be going again

Enjoyed the food I could eat but as they got the order wrong I am disappointed. Ordered chips and curry sauce for my friend, half chips/rice with curry sauce for me and a sausage on the side for someone else. Received the Half/half, sausage but Chicken in curry sauce instead of the chips and curry sauce? Delivery was fast and food hot, but my friend had to pass on the chicken and sauce as he don’t eat chicken. So make sure orders are confirmed.

Was well good came with in 10 min hot and tasted peng

Went on a bit of a drive and it's not a regular place really. On this occasion though I wish I hadn't bothered. Pies are pies and shouldn't be messed up but we're, sausages, well the worst I only tried half. Anyway enough said ish, ok maybe the chips were fair enough. I won't be back, sorry.

The quality is very good for the price, would have given 5 stars but twice we have had a delivery and paid for prawn crackers which we've not received, still good food
