    I stopped by Kandy restaurant for lunch and on the menu was ‘Lunch Meals’ and ‘Fried Rice’ (SR. 14) for that afternoon. I opted for the ‘Chicken Fried Rice’ and it didn’t take long for them to serve. The portions are generous and on it’s own, there is nothing exceptional about it. What really improves the taste is something called ‘IRAL’ or dried spicy ground shrimp which really adds flavour with its intense umami and makes a somewhat plain fried rice into a fantastic meal. WATCH OUT FOR THE FLIES.....

    When I went the first time they gave a very yummy Stringhopper koththu... But when I went the next day again, It was completely different and even though I ordered the same thing it was not good... That's why I rated it 3 stars. Please fix this problem.

    Sri Lankan Food (Not 100 %), most of the times the rice is not boiled enough. Cold Chinese rolls and samosa ("Short eats" in sri lankan style) Makes me wonder when it was made. They have some South Indian Food as well. Waiters are not that polite.
