The ease of the reservation was amazing. I was travelling with my 2 cats and it was no problem to keep them with me in my room. Having a restaurant attached to the hotel was even better..I had a couple of 4:30a mornings and coffee and breakfast was great

Soramba Hotel is the worst hotel I have ever visited. No mannered staff, less behavior, they don’t give what they committed. I will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel anymore.

We expected more from a three star Hotel. Transportation was delayed. The front of desk was helpful and friendly. Supper selection was limited one main dish with three accompaniments. Choice of Breakfast dishes was limited. No cheese available. The linen was not crisp. The room was spacious. On time wake up call.

Hotel looks good however there were details that are suppose to have been checked in the room before handing out to a guest. The intercom wasn't working hence you would have to go down to the reception if you need anything and also the front desk staff had to come knocking to inform us about breakfast instead of using the intercom. The telephone shower was leaking splashing water everywhere when bathing. The hand dryer wasn't working, couldn't use it . The smoke detector was missing from the room although the base was there but must have been taken out when it was faulty and wasn't returned back. This is for Room 403. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent, they were able to provide quality breakfast as early as 0521am to those leaving at 06am.

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. From the food to the room to the bad smell in the toilet. Absolutely would not recommend. I stayed here during a 5 hour layover in Addis. The receptionist was nice but everything about it reaked cheap and poorly managed.

I only appreciate the front security Guys they have respect to the guest and welcome face than the reception. N.B I tried to speak to the hotel manager but one of the waiters told me that they don’t have a manager @ night.

My stay in Soramba was excellent , from the day I step in the hotel till the day I left felt like home , employees are well trained very clean room , gym and sauna is included , Morocco bath , hairdresser and massage with reasonable price breakfast is included as well there is free entertainment at night except few days in a week , the traditional restaurant is wonderful I will say keep it up

Very nice hotel for transit passengers. Low cost but still very good. Not too far from Adis Ababa international airport. Friendly people guide you very nicely. Internet in each room. Rooms are very neat and clean. Good food and service for people staying there as well as for the transit passengers who stays for short periods. Staff will help you with your flight time and the cab service. Nice and pleasing view of the old town from the rooms. Overall very satisfied.

We went to the restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered Doro tibes and gomen tibes. Both came with light and dark injera and extra spices. Food was great. The live entertainment, singers and dancers were very talented. We enjoyed an excellent cultural evening.

I loved z restaurant(traditional) Super nice staff(the best manager), zy were coming n checking on us if we wanted any thing, and zer were also many other customers. Z food is good, loved z kitfo! They also have a special family combo which includes different delicious foods.

Rundown and not in a great area. Would not let the airline send me here. I was so uncomfortable I even skipped both “free meals” I was offered during my layover.

Cute hotel with a wonderful spa and a beautiful traditional restaurant

I stayed Soramba Hotel from March 20-23,2021. I found it’s GYM and other related things are excellent. disappointingly, the rooms I rented and the receptionist were bad. The 1st room I rented, the key was not working properly. The reception people were hesitant to change to another room. Then, they changed me another room, but the changed room TV and the safe box were not working. I reported but they disregarded my reporting. Finally, I checked out. My plan to stay in the hotel was 6-7 days. I also did ask the receptionist to call the hotel manager to express my experience in the Hotel, but they were hesitant to call the manager. My suggestion to the management 1. Please provide a training to your employee about customer service 2. Please make a tour on your rooms. It enables you identifying which room has a defect and which one is perfect. If you believe this review is not fair, you can contact me Marye Addis

avoid this hotel it's very bad hotel.didn’t like anything. This place was so disgusting. horrible customer service, worst experience ever. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY.It was a very noisy, busy motel. People were screaming at all hours of the night. Constant people coming and going to all different rooms(and they were all locals. It’s not like it was a party going on). I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

It is the best Hotel in the city

Soramba hotel was a good experience. I stayed here during a long layover at Addis Ababa. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was good especially the fish slices. Quite a distance from the airport though but apart from that, a good hotel in Addis main town. The rooms have a great view too from the balcony which makes for great city sighting at night and in the morning.

The room service number doesn’t work. I had to call the front desk to order a food and drink but still no answer. I had to go to the restaurant to eat. The duty manager was seating in the restaurant at that time. Disappointed!!!

Had a wedding reception there at the cultural hall. They've nice staff, especially there was a lady I think the supervisor was helpful and great. Good food and nice ambiance.

What a great hotel!! We spent three days in the hotel. 1. Service The gate keepers are friendly and helpful, The front desk person is welcoming and informative The room server and the housekeepers are friendly and smiley. The waiters working at the breakfast and the night band hall called "Bahel Bet " are so polite, and organized. The workers at the Sauna/Spa are so friendly and polite. 2.Ammenties The room is clean, great hot tab shower except the pressure of the water is a little low. The hotel have a great view to see some parts of Addis. The location of the hotel is best. Very safe and easily accessable for a transport, to the Banks and easy to visit any part of the city. We love the free Spa/Sauna although the time of service are limited. So friendly employees down there but need some improvement on time using. [ Employee close before the time and show late in the morning.] We enjoyed the free breakfast. The breakfast is with variety foods and drinks held in cultural house called "Yebahel Bet" the night band also held in the cultural house and it is beautifully made with cultural antiqes. The chairs, the tables, the wall arts, and the ceiling are amaizing. It is a little Ethiopia. We have spent a couple hours at with the night club which mainly a cultural music and dance which we enjoyed it. We recommend this hotels if you afford it. The rate of the room is fair for me but the foods in the Cultural room is a bit expensive. After all we enjoyed our stay on Soramba Hotel. I gave 5 Stars for this hotel. I let the hotel management know that you have a great employees who is showing great customer service and we will come back again this hotel whenever we can and we recommended also others to come this hotel because of them. The gym is not open at 5:30AM despite their advertisements. Receptionists not available usually. Parking is almost always full and the guards won't let you get in even if there is space. The gym equipments are high tech, enjoyable and easy to manipulate.

I have used Sauna, steam, and massage service at this hotel. It was a really good experience and I highly recommend it.

Terrible rooms, zero WiFi, poor ventilation, mosquito infested, noisy....worst of all hotels. 0 star...just bad

Rather neat hotel with good rooms and features. Only problem is the distance to the airport, but those having business in the area would find it opportune. The rooms are nicely furnished and beds comfortable. Meals are buffet style. The TV reception can be improved upon. My favourite at any hotel is the shoe shine machine and they have one at reception by the lifts. Other than that, a good hotel to stay at.

Do not waste your money. The spa here will not do their job properly. They put avocados in my daughter's hair and they didn't wash it out properly. They will also not massage you properly or wash the soap off as well. I had to rinse myself off after they left. Overall, this is a waste of time and it is not worth it.

Undoubtedly the worest hotel spa and gym horrible service with unfriendly stuffs the parking is always crowded I don’t recommend this place at all pls save your money
