Very disappointing, we order Black Label and they serve us pretty much black Tea and we ask the waitress to call the manager and he took an hour to talk to us and do nothing they charge us for the Tea 4800 birr I wish I they serve me the real stuff and pay more. Will never come back, never recommend, and please don't order whiskey this place has only music and food. The floor also has lots of tripping hazard

Mimi’s was good, now it is a catastrophic. Warm beer, cold coke ( when asked for a room temperature one ), cold soup who never came back after warming up, chicken breast that looked like a half chicken with still blood inside, not cooked. And worst of all a manager who doesn’t care. They will never see me again.

We had a work lunch at Mimi's, and it was OK, but I think it is more of a lounge/bar than a restaurant. The food was average. When our food came, it was only warm and not sizzling hot. We had ordered a steak, and they didn't even have a steak knife. The staff was not so knowledgeable about the food on the menu. However, to be fair, the staff are attentive. The place was so dark, with no open windows and very much like a bar. Maybe a good option for a night out than lunch.

I came to visit from Washington, DC USA. The food and service here at Mimi's is first class. The staff is so welcoming and gracious, even to foreigner's. At nighttime they have incredible live music. They have ice cold water and ice cold beer and soda. HIGHLY recommend!!! I can't wait to go back in 2024! PS The Italian food here is just as good or better than Italy. That's my humble opinion, and I've been all around the world.

Similar menu as MK's which is just around the corner, but in my opinion this is the better choice. The steaks are great and I was surprised about the quality for the price. The pasta dishes could be better though. The location with the big open air garden is fantastic and the staff was for me the friendliest I had in Addis. All in all a good choice for lunch/dinner.

The place is neat and nice. I asked for a specific drink and was told it is available the after ordering, I was informed they don't sell the drink. I ordered the mixed steaks, and it was not even big enough for one person. And the cost is outrageous.

Spend a week in Addis Ababa. Found one of the best places to eat is Mimi's Addis in Bole City. Oustanding service and meals. This place redeemed Addis after the very poor service quality at the Intercontinental Hotel where I was staying.

They are cheats! We went there to listen to live music and have some drinks. After we started drinking a brand of beer, they told us that they run out of that specific brand and we were forced to change to another one. After one round, they said they run out of that brand again. The music hasn't started as of that point in time. We decided to leave. The bill was for a live band. We tried to speak to the person in changed. The guy mistreated us.

I can not say that staff is rude, all i see that the place is crowded and they have to move fast. I can relate… Go there and try their pastas because i only tried pasta. POOR SERVICE We went to this restaurant with my 9 friends last night to have a drink and a meal. We waited almost for 11 minutes to get attention from the server. Unfortunately no one showed up. I went to the bar & ask the person if we can get a service. The gentleman apologized and said he we call our waiter. The waiter showed up with the menu no greeting no smile. He placed the menu and left. A few minutes later showed up and asked us if we ready to order. It took a few minutes to get everyone’s order but the server was inpatient left us. He came back later stood like wall. I ask him if everything is ok with him ? He has a gut to tell us you guys don’t know what to order and wasting his time. By the way the restaurant was laterally empty. I think he has a bad day but he took it on us. We ask if a manager is available he said no manager on duty. The guy has such a bad attitude. I think the food was great but the management needs to check to the service.
